Thank you, that answered my question.

Don't forget Casablanca...

And I think the Footlight Parade scene is supposed to be a compilation of Busby Berkeley films, as it also resembles the "I'm Young and Healthy" scene from 42nd Street.

LOL

And let's get it out here, the plane in the ride was not used in the movie (the one in the movie was a very low-tech cut out with midgets placed in front to make it look real whenever it was in the background...at least according to Roger Ebert.)

I worked GMR for two summers. The James Cagney scene, I believe, is based on Public Enemy. In fact, if you look to the right, there is a movie poster for the film and right below it you can see Mickey's feet.

And Eastwood, wearing his poncho, looks much like the Man With No Name from Sergio Leone's The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Trilogy, which of course was his signature role (at least until Unforgiven).

am i the only 1, who starts singing to the 'wizard of Oz' and 'singin in the rain'.
and also was there ever an alien that jumps out to the side of the car, the last time i went on TGMV there was'nt 1, just out of curiosity?

Bassman, I think that the alien that pops out from the side is primarily seen from the second car, so it can be easily missed. The alien from the top attacks the first car so if you are in the first car you might have missed the second alien. Maybe it just wasn't working too.

That's right. Just look back and you can see the alien on the right side. He pops out of a vent/pipes. When you pass by him in the first car you can actually see him with his head down but it isn't lit up so it is hard to notice.

But what is funny about the plane is that CM's on the ride were telling in the script that it was discovered to be the actual plane - at least they were in 1989.

There are a few more, I'm sure of it. I'll find them next year, though.

haha, I go on it everyday, and something breaks down or goes wrong! Our ride needs some serious TLC, and I dont mean just a new finally film!
