Today brings a lot of really funky situations...

So I wake up this morning only to find out that I have NO water. Not even COLD. Turns out they are doing water pipe work....and decided not to inform me about it.

No shower, no food, no bathroom...

So i have to wait till I get to work to get some "things" done...

I get in my car, get on good ol I-4.....and for some reason...TRAFFIC!! Why? It is not QUITE the season yet..O wait..I know...its because I have to go to the BATHROOM!

After a LONG drive, I finally get here...thankfully on time.

That was 3 or so hours ago...

I did say there is some "Good' on this day right??

Welllll...November 15th...X-Box day!!! I get to pick up my ultra powerfull machine on my way home...

Some of you may know that I have "difficulties" getting out of work at a decent hour...but not today! I was informed that I am cleared to go home at 6!! WOOHOO!!!


Why would I post this? Well...I am BORED..heh...I know its not earth shattering news to anyone etc...but this is a CHIT CHAT BOARD.....

Ok...I've wasted enough of your time...go back to doing what you were doing before you stumbled across my post...

Yeah...slow day at work...I'm waiting for the budget report to come back from the suits...so until it comes in...I sit here pretending to work.

Isn't it funny how they make you work extra hours and yet you go through spells where you have nothing to do? It's the same thing where I work. They had us coming in 2 hours early last week and then half way though the day we were running out of things do to. :rolleyes:

On the plus side, the more they have you there, the better your chances of staying there, right? I mean, you are always talking about how they could swat you anytime they wanted but if they are working you as much as it seems, it must be because they need you, right? :)

EXACTLY! I am a puppet...and I don't mind. Its job security. I'd rather sit here and do nothing and get paid..then sit at home and do nothing unemployed...

Now, how do you like x box?? I think I'm going to go with a game cube for xmas. I have considered PS2 and xbox but Luigis Mansion looks too fun :D

Well...considering the store had an overstock of gamecubes...and sold out of x-boxes....

X-Box rocks...Gamecube doesnt seem to be my cup of tea...

LoL..you were right..at 6:30 i was actually in the store laying down the cash...

Doesnt X box come out on Nov 18th??

Well thats when Toys R Us gets them in.

What games are available for x box? I like adventure/RPG's and racing games...would x box be more for me??

It came out today nationwide (at least it did down here)..

The games for it rock...you can see a list of ones that are alerady out..and ones that will be coming out soon at htp://xbox.ign.com

The gamecube game list looks less than impressive to me...

Halo, Oddworld, Project Gotham Racing, and Dead or Alive 3 are the games I want most...all are on x-box...

in the end its really just a preference..gamecube is nintendo,,so chances are most games are going to be childish (Nintendo never can grasp the concept of games aimed towards people older than 14)

Both are good systems..so in the end..look at the game list.

All I had to see on gamepro.com is that silent Hill 2 is going to be released for X box. No questions now.......X box it is! I like the looks of Hallow and Gotham Racing too. i'm assuming it's already sold out EVERYWHERE so hopefully my mom will be able to get her hands on one...

BTW how much is it? Same as the other systems? All I can find on line is these stupid bundle packs for like 500 bucks which is rediculous. One game will keep me busy for a long enough time...then I can go rent anything.
