After reading lots of restaurant views the past few days, everyone has their own opinion to what they like and what is good value etc.But excluding character dining. What is your favourite Fun restaurant? Where Mums & Dads can enjoy a reasonable meal and watch their little ones have fun.I struggle to find many in this category, but 50's Prime Time was a hoot when our DS was 6 years,he was so picky back then, and wasn't doing to well eating his dinner when the server told him that little boys who eat their meals up,get a surprise. It worked,he cleared his plate, then the server looked at us and said," Well it's up to you now what you buy him for finishing his meal." Our first time at Rainforest downtown,he was sitting right under a gorilla when it came to life, and scared the life out of him,I think he was 8 at that time. But last year our fun restaurant was no doubt T- Rex. Now being 14 years,I was thinking he wouldn't enjoy, but he did, especially watching the reaction of other children's faces when the Meteor shower came on.Anyway, what is your fun restaurant and have you any funny stories about your experience.;)

For pure fun we choose the Crystal Palace!:) We all love Pooh and my younger ds loves to do the conga through the restaurant! My older ds even will get a picture hugging all the characters and we all like the food!:) Yes it is a very happy restaurant!:) I almost forgot to mention the view of the castle is amazing!

I agree about 50's being fun. The first time I was so thirsty that when our "uncle" refilled my glass he yelled for the rubber sheets to be put on my bed. My DD (11 at the time) thought it was hysterical since I was the target. The next time we went she got caught giving her dad her veggies and our "sister" fed them to her with the entire room making airplane noises. She was a good sport at 17.

1900 Park Fare at dinner... The wicked stepmom and sisters are so in character... One time we had dinner there and my DGS had just interacted with the stepmom, as she was walking away, Jayce quietly comments "poor Cinderella" and the stepmom heard him and turned and gave him a ration!...It was the funniest thing to watch him squirm..

Whispering Canyon Cafe...one year we were there on our anniversary, and there were several other couples with anniversary buttons on as well. They had all the anniversary couples, and I think there were five, stand together and you had to kiss your spouse one second for every year you had been married...it was 20-something for us that year. The winning couple kissed for 43 seconds while everyone counted...way fun.
Of course the ketchup is always funny, and they also round up kids and have stick pony races.
One time I was really thirsty and downed my first drink and the waiter brought over this huge jug of coke with a giant straw and said, "Maybe this will hold you for a little while."
Just an all around fun place, especially if you get a server who is really into it.

Gets my vote as well...I dont like lunch/dinner buffets at Disney but the stepsisters/stepmother are alot of fun

50s was a huge hit with my kids. Sadly, they were a bit too young to really get into WCC when we went and we missed out on all of the fun stuff at 'Ohana dinner because we were seated in that side section away from the main room. My girls also think Cali Grill is fun due to the fireworks and view.

Super structures are my specialty!
Whispering Canyon Cafe is my favorite for a non-character and is probably second for the kiddos after 50"s Prime Time Cafe. Cousin George and the rest of the kin folk really impress the kids. I think the wife leans towards 50"s as well as she loves a good dessert and isn't the meatatarian I am :p

I think the most fun filled restaurants for obvious reasons are:

MK - Be Our Guest, Cosmics Ray's, Diamond Horseshoe

Epcot - Biergarten, Coral Reef, Garden Grill, Restaurant Marrakesh, Teppan Edo

DHS - 50's Prime Time Cafe, Sci Fi Dine In Thearter

DAK - Rainforest Cafe

DTD - Raglan Road, Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex

Resorts - Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue (FW), 'Ohana (Poly), Sanaa (AKL-KV), Spirit of Aloha Luau (Poly), Whispering Canyon (WL)
