I'm all about rides, so especially with the fizzling of Primevil Whirl, I think it would be good to have a "Big Dig" family coaster that other backseat Imagineers have proposed.

Realistically I think the return of Lucky the Dinosaur could be a really cool deep cut full circle moment for the land.

I would add in the Excavator coaster but change some of the plot points with it. In this story, Chester and Hester struck it decently big with the Carnival and wanted to invest in their first major coaster. One of them drew up grandiose plans for a giant wooden coaster that would go through an abandoned dig site (been dug out + no longer has any major fossils)

During construction, the money quickly dries up and the couple realize that they have no money left to make anything actually Dinosaur themed. They retheme the construction equipment and various old excavation tools into Dinosaurs creating a fun first wooden coaster. However, during the last portion, a wall gives way to reveal that the coaster accidentally dug into the basement of the nearby Dino Institute... which just had a group of Pterodactyls accidentally escape into the present on an unauthorized mission (Dinosaur's storyline but now the Pterodactyls came with you as well)

The cave fills with the screeches of the dinosaurs as you dodge and weave in the dark and as you climb the final lift hill for one final dive through the caves and back into the station.


This ride also somewhat pokes fun at 2 things in AK history, both the running out of budget + the "underground supports" breaking something on a coaster ride. (funny joke is funny)

Looking at my International Theme Park location database/thread, it appears that Australia (Sydney) would be the best new site for a theme park. I’ll give it to Disney as that makes me more likely to go visit.

Not a tough question for me as I don’t like some elements of Haunted Mansion. I do enjoy what the Blue Bayou adds to the ambience at Disneyland.

Oh I just wanted to clarify, I'm not 100% guaranteed, it all depends on where my life is at by the time it gets going. Things have been crazy and it feels like I have less and less time each day- not even because of work, just... this weird sensation of not having enough time.

The boards have been pretty quiet lately, or at the very least, I stopped getting emails even though I'm tracking threads.

DL's Pirates, not only for the historical aspect, but because MK's Mansion is no longer the best HM after the HBG change just threw off the whole plot of the ride. Poor floating candelabra, no one pays you much attention anymore.

I've never been to Disneyland, so I'll have to go with the Haunted Mansion.
