The first Day

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
Disney Quest is a great place to go, and it is open late. If you have kids, they won't want to leave
Ill translate, what this really means is that its a building full of teens thats difficult to navigate around running wild unsupervised untill they run out of funds to buy tickets then its whine central untill parents weaken and part with more cash. As for the attractions, nothing special and I doubt if we'll go back. Might dump the kids there though:D

 Last time I was at Disney Quest you just needed to pay at the front door, or use your Park Hopper pass. All of the games inside were free. A relaxing place to go, it is not...but it is alot of fun though!:)

I will be in Florida in 14 days!!!!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

I have a 9 hour flight from the UK so we try to stay awake as long as possible when we arrive. This year we are going shopping at Belz Factory Outlet and the Florida Mall on the first day. We then usually go for a swim in the hotel pool and then sleep. :snore: :snore: :snore: :snore: :snore:

*only 14 days to go*
(so close i can smell it.........)
:hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Yes some things are still included in admission however most of the arcade style attractions require additional funding. Flashing lights are a magnet to people of all ages.

After we check in we make dinner reservations for the week, then visit the hotel,if it's really late we will hit one of the parks for a parade or show.Sometimes we drive to Downtown orlando and shop and clubs.Or go workout at the gym which we have a membership to.

I didn't even think about making dinner reservations. Thanks for the tip!

Go to bed :sohappy:

On the last trip we had to sit at Newark airport (NY) for 3 hours for a connecting flight - too late to do anything else when we eventually arrived at Port Orleans, considering that UK time is 5 hours ahead of East coast USA.
The trip before the plane developed "a technical problem" prior to us boarding - 4 hour delay waiting for a new plane - arrived PO and went to bed.
Nicely refreshed for our first day to take on "The World"

lol...but seriously...do you not get jet lag? Sometimes resting when you first get there can benefit the rest of the holiday.....

I agree with you on this one, Luau Cove. You need to make the most of all the time you have at WDW. I mean a know you have to rest at some point but probably alot less than a normal week. Just like the Energizer bunny (as L Cove) said you have to keep going, and going, and going.............

And luckily my flight is not too late that I can't enjoy a little bit of my hotel!

I should get jet lag, since I have 8 hours by plane to Miami and 4 hours by car to Orlando. So I usually arrive at WDW at midday and try to "use" the day to the max without exceeding, obviously.
