Looks awesome. I've only had a chance to skim through it; will have to give it a thorough read-through later.

I think your wife and I would get along as the two movies she picked were two of the ones I picked when I went out to Hawaii in June-July.:joyfull:

My two favorite Mousekeeping signs are the Dumbo and the Olaf, though they are all adorable.

And this probably goes without saying, but the Star Wars stuff is awesome. So jealous that you've gotten to do Star Wars Weekends.

This was our third(or maybe fourth) SWW. It has gotten crazier year on year.

Great trip report and excellent photos! I'm sorry you had to endure Episode 3, though. At least it was the only thing that went really wrong your whole trip, and I totally empathize with Mrs. Ferret's distress, since it was your birthday present. But there's always the chance for a "do-over" the next trip! :)

I also love the Mouse Keeping envelopes! Your tattoo artist is truly very talented. :inlove:

Thanks for sharing! I really need to work on my trip report soon. :bookworm:

Wonderful trip report! It was really enjoyable reading here, first thing in the morning.

I went for a few days back in May, and I arrived on a Sunday, so I caught some of SWW that afternoon. Unfortunately it rained, so they had to cancel the midday parade at DHS (I have seen that in the past, and it's great). The park was still mobbed, though. :banghead:

You and your wife are adorable together!! :inlove: Both of you also have fun tattoos. :) Thanks to the both of you for inviting us along (even after it was over--worth the wait!) on your vacation!

Thanks for sharing. Can't see any pictures at the moment so will check back later!
What tour did you do - or did I miss the title?
Sounds like you had a great time and I am impressed you got everything down and shared quickly - pretty much the whole report in a few days!
They are the best trip reports to read as at least you can keep up and not loose track. :)
Thanks again for sharing

We touched down early am in the UK and got our bags. We had booked a room at the Yotel for a few hours and went there to relax and refresh a bit before our afternoon flight back to Guernsey. It is a nice "pod" style hotel and great for a short relax but a little small in size for an overnight stay in our opinion. We checked out of the hotel and checked in for our flight then headed straight through customs.
A few last minute presents were collected from duty free before we headed to Frankie and Benny's for a last holiday meal. After being promptly seated we sat there for an age with no server even saying hello. So we got up and walked out. Another couple also did the same as they had been sitting before we were shown in. YAY back to good old British service.
We grabbed a coffee and a sandwich from Costa instead and before we knew it we were boarding our flight back across the little pond to our waiting chauffeur (my dad) and the real world.

BOOO

Minnie I was there in May on a rainy Sunday watching the parade. To think we might have seen one another!

Jeepers--did it rain most Sundays in May, so that the parade either didn't go on, or if it was lighter rain, it just meant that everyone got soaked watching it? :p :D (I also wonder if they had a later afternoon or early evening parade as well. The one that got completely rained out was a midday one.)

That's the one I'm talking about. Now it might not have been the same day, although I know our trips overlapped, but I prefer to think we were there the same day. :)

After last nights shenanigans we had a late start today. We fired up the motor and rolled out up to Universal.
First up (for me)was a trip on Rip Ride Rock It whilst Donna waited below in the sunshine. As we had started late it was already lunchtime so we popped into Springfield and into the Krusty burger. Now conventional wisdom would be to get the signature dish here but since when have we been normal.
I went for the chicken waffle sandwich ( waffle top and bottom, fried chicken in the middle with lettuce and mayo .. and maple syrup) with tater tots on the side. Donna went for the interestingly named Chicken Thumbs (with tater tots). Both of us had the Buzz Cola (sugar free cherry cola).
Suitably refreshed we headed over to diagon alley and spent some more time sightseeing before joining the queue for Gringotts. The posted time was 1 hour but, knowing what the queue length is we got out of the queue after 20 minutes or so as there was no way we were getting to the inside section in an hour let alone on the ride.
To make up for this we went to Mr Fortesques ice cream shop once more and both had the peanut butter and strawberry flavour in a cone. This was just as nice as the other ones we had the other day.
We spent some more time browsing the park before exiting, picking up a bottle of pumpkin juice and bottle of Gilly water to try later, as the crowds had grown and the wait times were all insane. One Valencia orange Starbucks each and we were good for the trip back to finish packing.
Once that was done we boated over to Downtown and caught Pitch Perfect 2 over at the AMC.
Dinner was at EOS on the way back to the boat and we both went with the holiday turkey ( would be rude not to ).

I can never pass up the holiday sandwich. I would like to try a couple other's but I just can't do it. I'm loving your TR, and how much fun you are having!

Loved your TR and the brilliant photos. Shame you had to endure some poor service - but hopefully the rest of the trip made you forget about this. Haven't done the trip you did but next time I may??? :):):)
