Rumor The EPCOT Hotel

So just so I understand, all this is based on a screen grab from a pm site that shows “something” was updated in February. Which could mean anything. It is just as likely that someone went in and randomly clicked “save” instead of “cancel”.

So... rather than a renewal of the entrance hotel, maybe this is for a renewal of the Festival Center (the 3 tier one), since that's the address at 2000 Avenue of the Stars?

Or, maybe it is a "Epcot Hotel," namely The Swan Reserve, which Gensler is working on, the address is bogus?
That's literally what I said too:
Wouldn't it be funny if since Reflections is (currently) dead and the table is (currently) dead, they decide to build a hotel in Epcot that would:
- Give them a hotel in a prime location
- Give a upcharge location for the new show (what the table was supposed to do)

Two birds, one stone. But the stone is in molasses so it'll take at least 5+ years to actually hit it's target.

They aren't building the hotel in the middle of FW where the table was going to go, right :p? Then they could really charge a premium

Curious to see plans, concepts, etc...I doubt this is hard pricing, but budgeting, instead.

I think a front entrance hotel is a great idea...I hope they put a hotel in every country themed to the culture.
I think they've scaled it down to individual townhomes!

From what I’ve heard (on a few podcasts recently) about Epic U, this theme park will have a “stay in the park” offering. I wonder if this will be WDW’s answer? Wasn’t this idea first floated by Tony Baxter during Epcot’s initial development?
Heck- it kind of was Walt’s vision too, was it not??!!??

Epic Universe has a hotel at the back. Sort of like the Disneyland Hotel in France or the Hotel Mira Costa but at the back of the park instead of the front.
