It looks like the end of WoL has finally come. On the official website the pavilion, body wars, cranium command, and making of me pages have disappeared. I'm kinda sad....... :(

Sorry I have to correct you but those were definately on there a week or so ago as a group of us were discussing them and linking to them, but as allways with wdw official website you can never trust it, things disappear and reappear on a daily basis.

The last time it was open was during the food and wine festival in 07'.

Wonders of Life pavilion, as of January 28th. The lights were on inside, but no sign was up saying it was the WOL pavilion or anything, and the path was blocked by bushes. If you want more pics, just ask.

One can only hope that something grand will happen in that area in the not-so-distant future. Sadly, if 'something grand' means anything more than conventions, I think we're out of luck...

Another WoL thread...

...this topic is starting to rival the "wand watch '07" thread count.

WoL - RIP
Not coming back. Events Space indefinitely until demo and rebuild. No plans to do so (demo and rebuild) so events pavilioin Indef.

Very sad, yes. Loss of guest space always sucks. Epcot slowly becoming a "special events" park (Odyssey, Millinium Village, WoL).

I believe the pavilion is booked for the upcoming F&G festival which I think officially ends on 6/1/08. After that, I have not seen anything.

To me, it was officially over for WOL the day they took down the DNA strand from the front of the building. That's when you knew that Wonders was dead, and a crappy events pavillion was born.

Until they come up with a new sponsor the only thing that WOL will be used for is the occasional party or two. The longer it sits empty, the more the building deteriorates until it no longer makes economic sense to do anything with it but mothball it and tear it down. I sincerely wish they'd do something with that space, anything to enhance a visit to Epcot is better than the shell of what we see now.

They should just put a big temporary wall around WOL and knock the building down since they will not retrofit it for a new attraction.

Why doesn't WDWMagic sponsor it? If we all pool our money I'm sure we can come up with the $100 million it would take to turn WOL into an E-ticket pavilion again. :lookaroun

Here's a copy of the email Guest Services sent me on Tues:

Dear Brian,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Wonders of Life pavilion in Epcot is now operated on a seasonal
basis. The attractions in the Pavilion, Body Wars, Cranium Command and
the Making of Me will be available during periods of anticipated peak
attendance. The quick service dining and merchandise locations in the
pavilion have ceased operations.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if
applicable on all correspondence.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Suzanne Walden

I Noticed on the web site that Body Wars and Cranium Command will be
