From animated-movies.com:

Jeanine Tesori, the Tony-winning composer of Thoroughly Modern Millie, told Playbill that she wants to write the score for an original Disney aminated movie. "I've written three video sequels for Disney--Lilo and Stitch II, Mulan II, and The Emperor's New Groove II." said Tesori. "I've loved the process. I'd like to take the next year off an concentrate on a movie."

I don't know about you, but that's GREAT news to me! :sohappy: :sohappy: ENG was a truly Disney film, incredibly funny, and I hope they have the same writers for the sequel.

Sequels and video trash are doing more to harm the public's perception of Disney's traditional animation than any one bad or mediocre film in the theatres could ever do.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

ENG WAS THE BEST MOVIE! Now it's going to get a half-______ remake that will make you want to shoot yourself due to the amount of brain cells killed durring watching.

I don't think ENG was a true Disney film, but I liked it. At first I wanted a sequel, but now I can see its not gonna be too good (although it is early to judge). It just goes to show they will make a sequel for anything

Walt hardly ever made "sequels," and that was for a reason. Rarely is the story as good, and over time your whole name is dragged down with the perception of crap coming out.

Now, continiuing in a series if the story was good (like with a second season on TV of "Spin and Marty," or more "Davy Crocket" stuff, etc.) was a different story, and remains so today. [Re: "Toy Story 2"]

But sequels just for the sake of a sequel hurt everyone.
