'The Ellen Degeneres Show' to film at Universal Orlando

The nationally syndicated "The Ellen Degeneres Show" announced plans to tape three days of programs at Universal Orlando on March 31, April 1 and 2.
The show tapings will be done on the Lagoon Stage, located at Universal CityWalk. The outdoor, waterfront amphitheater seats 1,000 people and is the location where many other television programs have been filmed.
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" has won two consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show and also won the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host this year. It premiered on Sept. 8, 2003, and was the highest-rated freshman syndicated show of the 2003-2004 season. It is produced by A Very Good Production and WAD Productions Inc. in association with Telepictures Productions, and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
The programs will air on April 3-5. at 4 p.m. in Orlando on WESH-TV.
