The Disneyland Resort (Not CA)

Progress City would be a great expansion for Tommorowland but the problem is, I have room for only 10 more attractions. I spent all day maximizing my Bathrooms. I probably have to do even more work. But I was beaten to the punch for a Disney Park for the contest at RCT2.com but I believe my version will easily topple his.

You never stop, do you? I checked it out, and although it wasn't nearly as great as it could have been, it is still immensly better than anything you have built.

Wrong. Even with great scenery many of the areas are really badly designed. Look at Space Mountain. Look how the park emblem has the sign of the Matterhorn and yet there is no Matterhorn in the whole park. There are many flaws with his design but you just hate me.

I don't hate you, I highly dislike how you treat people with your ginormis ego of your's. It's always about how you are so much better than every body else. It just really ticks me off how you present yourself and treat people here and I am more than willing to not only stick up for myself but for those you chose to pick on. That being said, I just don't really like your style of building as does just about everybody else who has seen it, and usually I would keep those kinds of comments to myself and focus on the positive, but I have chosen to sink to your level to defend myself and others. Sure, his park isn't great, but I still feel is better than anything you have built, but I suppose it depends on what your purpose is. If you are trying to build something that real people will actually enjoy looking at, then your style isn't any good. If you are trying to portray an accurate scale model that doesn't look great and skimp on the detail which make the actual buildings so great (within reason as far as rct goes), then your style is best, just realize you are the only one that really likes that style. I'm really done talking about this because you and me are cluttering this guy's page and it is very disrespectful. So sorry to you rct imagineer, and I'm done.

Ok, I don't know how this topic got on DarkMeasures park or Lazyboys park (The mountain in his logo is Mt. America by the way, NOT the Matterhorn.), but if you want to discuss those parks, start another topic. I don't mean to be rude or anything but I get email notifications of replies since I don't visit here much and my mailbox has been full of them. I come to check them out and it's nothing about my park. So please, back on topic.

And DarkMeasures, learn how to use the "Edit" button.

Wait a minute. First, you need to learn to take some Criticism and second, it had nothing to do with an ego.

I have been watching other people fan made parks for years and I know a good one from a bad one. Yeah, yours are good but I don't like the Oversized bit. One reason is that everything tends to get out of Proportion the larger the buildings. But for actual parks. I have been watching and noticing other people techniques. I have seen problems but I have seen a lot of good though. However, I have yet to see a good example on this site. But I can list some very good ones (many have been way gone, sadly)

The true masters were the contest winners from Danimation, most of the contest winners from RCT2.com, contest winners for Rollercoastertycoon.com and of course, my favorite RCT parks of all time, the RCT Disneyland Timeline.

So what all is gonna be in your park attractions wise if you care to share. And when are we gonna get more pics because I'm getting pretty anxious to see what you have in store for us. Like I said, looks awesome so far. If I ever hasve the time and or complete my WDW parks, I wanna do something simular to this as well with completely new attarctions. Curious to see what you have devised.

DarkMeasures... learn to take a hint and shut up.

And martin: I'm sorry. I didn't read your previous post or I wouldn't have posted that "back on topic" thing. My apologies.

As for my park, all six lands will feature at least one original attraction along with fan favorites. For example:

Adventureland: Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Emerald Eye is a clone of the IJA at Tokyo DisneySea. The Jungle River Expedition is an updated version of the Jungle Cruise.

Frontierland: Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain are definately in. Also, a Western version of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin called Woody's Round-Up will be added.

Fantasyland: The Many Tails of Robin Hood (Yes, it is intentionally spelt wrong), an original dark ride will take place of Snow White's Scary Adventures since SWSA has been moved to the Shadowlands. It's based of the Disney classic.

The Shadowlands: A Legend of Sleepy Hollow dark ride, Night on Bald Mountain E-Ticket, and the Phantom Manor will take up residence in this dark forest/village area. Plus a few more suprises. ;)

Discoveryland: Two new attractions for sure: Around the World In 80 Days and The Time Machine will pay tribute to Jules Verne and H.G. Wells. An updated version of 20,000 Leagues (ala DisneySea's version) will also be located here.

Phew... That's it for now. I have to go to work.

Sounds pretty sweet to me, definetly like shadowlands as a simular alternative to the villianland that everybody talks about. And no appology nessisary, I'm just sorry all that bs took up so much of your page, I just hate it when he gets on his high horse and insults everybody. Do you pretty much have all your lands set, or do you need any suggestions to get the creative juices flowin cause I have plenty of ideas I'm more than willing to share.

All the lands have been mapped out on notebook paper and the final attraction list is done as well. Thanks for the offer anyways.

As for DarkMeasures, ignore him. He'll learn one day, I hope. We have a name for people like him on other boards: a troll.

Thanks, guys. I worked my butt off on it. I'm glad everyone agrees with me that it looks good!

Now for a quick question: I'm making a Disney water park using the new pool scenery from the RCT Depot. But it needs a name. Please pick one of the following:

Disney's Seven Seas Water Park
or
Port Disney Water Park
