The "Cool Out" Ride

Who else loves the Wedway Peoplemover which is now called TTA.....This is a must for or family and when its not crowded, the nice CM will let me stay on for a second trip. :sohappy:
Anyone else like to ride?

It can give you a nice little break in the day and it can give you some nice views. Pre-going on Space Mnt. I would ride it to see the inside of Space and I probably still will. I really like it.

I love the TTA! It's a great place to hang out in the afternoons and everywhere is really busy or boiling hot! My fave bits are when it takes a corner as it gives you a fun 'whooosh'. Petty? I think not.

-Relaxing ride
-A bit of shade doesn't hurt in the summer
-Nice view inside Space Mountain
-Great view of the original EPCOT model (I wish they would slow the car down to see it in more detail )

Just for fun, here's a little game my wife and I play while on it...

When people pass by in the other cars, wave and cheer and see if you can get the other people to wave. Normally you can get about half the people to cheer and wave right back at you. Sometimes you'll find a few sticks in the mud, but it's a lot of fun.

I love it. Very relaxing. Good ride to relax on after having stuffed yourself with a turkey leg at that little eating place right below it.:slurp:

And who doesn't love that guy's voice when he says "Now approaching Space Mountain", or "Rocketeer Plaza", or "Mickey's Star Traders"?

On a side note - Showing a little of that Disney cast member magic that has been lost, we got yelled at last time on that ride. My girlfriend had a box of popcorn, and they made her throw it away. When she said she would just cover it up, the girl gace ver a nasty attitude.

Hey - Anyone notice how the only rude Disney cast members are female? Not to offend the ladies out there, but I just realized it.

My brother and I go around and around when we're looking for a break...or waiting for fireworks or parade etc. I just find it so relaxing

I love TTA! It is definately a must ride when I go.

The first time we were there my wife and I were on it (then Wedway People movers) and as we approached SM I told her that it was actually going to be the roller coaster. She hates roller coasters. She totally freaked on me and started screaming as we entered the dark SM and heard the rumble of the SM cars go by. When we popped out the other side she called me a as*(*^le , and now we laugh every time we ride it.:lol: This year she wants to ride SM and RRC. :sohappy: Go Figure.

The first time I was there, I was only 10, and was a big chicken, and wouldn't go on Space Mountain either. When we went into it, I just put my head on my sister's shoulder, closed my eyes, and told her to hold on tight because I was so scared.

100% agree with you. When the crowds get pushy and the heat gets too much, we always bolt for the Peoplemover.
Calm, relaxing and quick load times.

Do a forum search and you'll see that the TTA is a MUST do on our vacation each and every year. First MK attraction we go to on a trip and the last attraction we ride before we leave the MK the final time in a trip. We've been lucky enough to video tape and still photo Space with the lights on many times while riding the TTA. We wave at other cars passing by and shout greetings to people walking below. There have even been times we've ridden around a 2nd or 3rd time in a row because there was no one in queue waiting. Long live the TTA. We use it for all of our interplanetary travel.

TTA is a great ride.... it's slow and relaxing, which is just what you need for those hot disney afternoons!

it is a must ride. it is one of my favorites.

i just keep forgetting my night vision scopes to put on when you get into SM.

I love the TTA. The first time my husband rode it was when we went on our Honeymoon in 2002. Now each time we go we ride that at least 2 or 3 times. It is just a nice relaxing ride like everyone has said especially on those hot days. It really give you a great view of Tomorrowland.

Even if I didn't love the ride (which I do) it still needs to be there - it fits the character of the land so well. I can't imagine what tomorrowland would look like without it.
