Morning All..Now many years ago ( it feels like that ) we just winged our way thro the QS restaurant world, but our then DS aged 6 never liked the kids chicken nuggets and preferred the adult ones..They were different looking..Is this still the same.?..I never tried tasting the two of them to find out if there was a great difference..Just curious as friends are soon to ask as their wee lass is that age and can give them an answer..:p

I can tell you, yes it is still the same. The adult menu ones available at Columbia Harbour House are much better than the ones from the kids menu. My 10 yr old DD is something of a WDW nugget expert.

Johnboy is the resident Nugget Man! Where ever we go he gives a taste! His favorite are the chicken "tenders" (the adult nugget)is in Crystal Palace he said they were fresh and his second favorite are in Columbia Harbour House. He has tasted the kids version but, says they taste "fake". I don't really know what "fake" means?!?! :bored:

I think I can elaborate a little on the CHH ones. The adult ones taste like something someone put a little effort into--there are even some spices involved. The kid ones taste like Tyson chicken nuggets--not as good as say McDonalds.

Hmm..I've only had the nuggets from Cosmic Rays on one trip and judging by the pics from other places that serve them, the nuggets look the same and presumably taste the same. I mean, look at the teriyaki nuggets at Friars Nook. It's really the standard nugget covered in teriyaki sauce for the most part.

Good old Jamie...His new Italian restaurant in Glasgow serve a Chicken Nugget pasta dish for kids..Hmm..One wonders how his chefs get round this dish!?:depressed:...
Well you can of course make a REAL chicken nugget. i.e.. get a real whole piece of chicken breast and batter or bread crumb it. Fast food companies don't do that though - they prefer to use mechanically recovered scrap of low grade chicken, tons of chemicals, preservatives and other things that humans shouldn't be eating.
