The Castle

I think that, if this is true, Disney has thought of all these questions and more. They wouldn't just put you in a room and not give you the greatest experience of your life!!! This would be the coolest and I repeat COOLEST thing in the history of Disney!! Forget Soarin' and Pirates...staying the night in Cinderella's Castle is a dream come true!!!

It's been mentioned other places that the apartment wouldn't be ready for winners to stay in until January. You're correct I believe. :wave:

don't forget that walt disney didn't want the image of him looking through the window of cinderella's castle to be seen by guests so there is no windows in walts apartment design.

This whole thing brings up many questions in my head:

What if I got to go to the bathroom?
What if I want something to eat?
Where do I take a shower?
What if I want to go to Pleasure Island?
What if I want a beer? :lol:

I am sure there will be a bathroom with a shower.

I am also sure they would provide food.

Official from Disney "Guest staying in the castle will be allowed to come and go as they please." But they believe not many guest would roam, they would want to spend as much time in the castle as possible.

I think she ment roam as in leave the castle to go to PI or else where. She said there will be a Security Guard that will escort the guest to and from the gate if they wish to leave, but not allowed to roam the park.

My question is this. If you wanted to leave, how would you?????

The monorail and boats wouldn't be running.

I am guessing they would have a small craft to go across the lake.

Oh, I think I would have to call home and tell them I will be delayed returning from WDW. I would never pass up that chance to stay at the castle.

Quick question: The apartment was intended as an apartment for Walt and his family, right? Didn't they start construction on the castle AFTER Walt's death? This makes me wonder if there was some other reason for this room being put in the castle.
