Good Morning Everyone. One thing I always look forward to when I leave MK at night is to visit the Main Street Confectionary and buy a tin of candy. My favourite being the chocolate truffles which came in a square silver tin with Mickey on the lid.My DW bought chocolate covered almonds and they were in a round blue tin with the four parks on the lid.( great souvenirs for keeping biscuits in ) Anyway, what is your favourite take home candy/fudge etc from the Main Street Confectionary ?:)

I don't think I've seen the tins - I'll have to look for them next time! I love anything with chocolate. :) I used to love getting a bag of Cherry Sours to munch on while I strolled through the park, but when I went to get them on our last trip, I was told they didn't sell them anymore.

We bought goofy sour gums this year in bags to take home as we had soooo many snack credits left.:)

The blue round tin says " where magic lives " and the square tin is called " retro silver truffle tin " we also have a square type box tin that had milk chocolate caramel patties in it.It has Mickey icons all over it.I keep my coffee pods in that one.My kitchen looks like Mickey's pantry.

We love getting the giant Mickey rice crispy treats before going home. You all know how sad those first couple days back home are, but we have that as our breakfast for a few days to let the magic live on for a few days longer!

I used to love Mickey’s “Good Old Fashion Peppermints” they came in a tin with Mickey, Goofy, or Donald etc. on the cover. Inside the mints were also in the shapes of the major character. I have not seen them for a long time however. I thing they were replaced with “princess Mints” in a pinkish tin.

I love the toffee (comes in squares about 4 inches) and a few of their fudge flavors. My biggest purchase though is the caramel apples with nuts. They used to be considered a snack on the DDP so we would take several home.
oh Pooh ....... caramel apples with nuts, no wonder I adore you!! LOL I brought a few home, and Ron (DH) was surprised they made it during the flight home! LOL Are they not the best thing EVER?!!?!!

Hey stranger! Glad to see you back and talking goodies again. WDW caramel apples with nuts ARE the best thing ever! My DH and I used to split one every night while watching TV after a long day in the parks and then take about 7 or 8 home in my carry-on (they last about a week in the fridge.) Love, love, love!!

Hatter, can you REALLY wait 2 years? Your love of all things Disney is so great that is deserves a vacation to your Happy Place at least once a year! But you know what, talking about all the wonderful food we look forward to actually helps pass the time between trips and absence really does make the heart grow fonder. But in the mean time, enjoy that gingerbread man!
