The best RESORT quick-service spots

Of all the quick-service dining spots in the WDW resorts, which do you find the best? And what are their best items?

Personally my wife and I love Roaring Forks at Wilderness Lodge. I've always enjoyed their tuna salad sandwiches (can't seem to find them anywhere else) and my wife said they have the best turkey sandwiches there too. Sometimes we'll eat there a couple of times on a trip just to get away from the same burgers/pizza/chicken you get everywhere else.

Some faves we enjoy:

The Mara @ AKL
Captain Cooks @ Polynesian (since recent refurb)
The ones at POR/POFQ
Artist Palatte @ SSR (least of our faves but still enjoyed)

We did not like Gasparilla Grill @ GF after their refurb when we stayed there late 2013. No flavor food and over cooked etc. Also the servers were rude that night. That has been the only one we have not enjoyed and probably will not go back any time soon.

We want to try all the others at different resorts like WL, AOA, Pop Century etc.

I like Boardwalk Bakery! I don't know if it's technically a "resort qs" but it's much better than what they have at the BC Marketplace!

While I agree with @sxeensweet on the issues with Gasparilla, they have some lovely spots (view-wise) for dining al fresco.

@NCO91590 is spot on with BW Bakery. YUM!!!

Beyond that, I like Captain Cooks at the Poly, Contempo at the Contemporary, Roaring Fork at WL and the Mara at AKL.

Old Port Royale at Caribbean has some really good food , fast service , friendly people !! No complaints just wish I lived there! Lol

Personally my wife and I love Roaring Forks at Wilderness Lodge.

I haven't eaten at many but Roaring Forks is my favorite and I also really like the Gasparilla Island Grill at Grand Floridian.

I'm a big fan of The Mara at AKL Jambo House. Their flatbreads are great, and their salads are a cut above the usual iceberg lettuce with a chunk of tomato on it.

I also love the Riverside Mill at POR for its variety and the late night pizza and pasta menu. There will be carbs.

As much as we love CR, we were disappointed by the Contempo QS offering. It is an upgrade from the prior Food and Fun on the first floor, but in our opinion is barely better than most "museum" type cafeterias. We enjoyed Captain Cooks (pre-furb) much better, probably more for atmosphere since the food seemed similar. We have not been to either recently, so we will check on our next visit.

In my experience I have always found these CS options at the resorts to be clean, great quality plus variety of food, nice seating and atmosphere all adding up for overall the best around property:

Boardwalk Bakery (BWR) - Lobster Roll w/ side salad
Hurricane Hanna's (Y&BCR) - Lobster Roll w/ Hummus and veggies
Mara (AKL) - Falafel Pita W/ Couscous
Pepper Market (CSR) - Crabcake sandwich w/ parmesan fries
Sassagoula Floatworks - Shrimp Po'boy and don't forget an order of Beinets
Rolling Forks (WL) - I always liked their Roasted Beet Salad with mixed greens, goat cheese and vinaigrette

We always stay in the magic Kingdom resort area,Gasparilla, Captain Cook's, Contempo and Roaring Forks are all enjoyable.
