The *BEST* new Disney CD

Okay folks... so, I called into work the other day to find out my schedule, and I got put on hold. While on hold, I heard the best new music... so I called the operator, and asked what it was. I immedietly ran out to the World of Disney to get it... but alas... THEY DIDNT HAVE IT YET!!! Argh... however... the Virgin Megastore had it on sale for $14.95... so of course I bought it.

It's the new Disney Mania CD... "Superstar Artists Sing Disney... Thier Way!" It is the BEST Disney CD I have ever bought... so many great songs sung by great artists...

Check out your local CD store, maybe they shall have it. It's an AWESOME CD.

Two months ago I received a CD from my former roommate who lives in Hong Kong. The cd is called "Disney 100 years Superstar Hits". I don´t really kow if the CD exists in the US. It says "mandarin and cantonese version". I thought it was on those languages, but noooo! it was in English! It might be one of those "made in HK" cd´s if you know what I mean, but it is soo good!

It´s two cd´s actually and each one has 18 songs, some of them are:

Reflection -Christina Aguilera
Circle of life - Elton John
Colors of the wind - Vanessa Williams
BEauty and the Beast - Celine Dion and Peado Bryson
Part of your world - Olivia Newton John
Someday - All 4 One
I´m gonna love you - Jennifer Love Hewitt
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo - Louis Armstrong
Shooting Star - Boyzone
Remember the magic - Brian McKnight
Reflection - Vanessa Mae
He lives in you - Tina Turner
When she loved me - Sarah McLachlan

I have one very similiar to that one, but mine is a single CD and doesn't have all of the ones you listed. But it is good. I think it's called Disney Superstar Hits (CD jacket not in front of me).

When we were at EPCOT two weeks ago, they were playing some cuts from this CD and I couldn't find anyone to tell me what it was from, but i knew it was good stuff. Then, on one of the Disney TV channels in our room, Jump 5 had a music video to Beauty and the Beast. I knew then I had to have it. Finally found out from a CM in the hotel gift shop that it was a new CD that would be coming out later with remakes of Disney songs by contemp artists. Glad to know that it is out!

As much as I hate to encourage this kind of behavior.

That CD is at Target. I saw about 50 copies of it today. So if you're still looking for it, check there.

I've been planning to buy this cd for the last month... I'll probably just end up asking for it for Christmas... I'm glad to see they're making the CD's with actual cotemporary artists and not ones like the Pointer Sisters, Donna Summer, etc...

Tyler is VERY right....this CD is great. Smash Mouth especially did a KILLER job!! This even tops my "Best of Country Sing the Best of Disney" CD!! :lol:

picked this CD up a couple of nights ago at WalMart for $13.88. It's good if you enjoy remakes. Could make a nice stocking stuffer......
