Good Morning Fish Fans. This mornings Disney Food Blog has reviews on various restaurants that do fried fish. Ye cannae whack a guid fish supper.Anyway, where is your favourite at the world.? Our first " Fish & Chips. " was back in 2008 and we got them from Yorkshire chippy at Rosé & Crown. My verdict was good, but where's the rest of the fish? If I caught this poor wee thing back home,I'd fling it back in the sea.Now the CHH at MK is also good, but it wasn't until last year that we had a meal at Cooke's of Dublin. My DS opted for the " Fish & Chips "Wow! Not only did it look like the real McCoy,it tasted awesome,( I sneaked a bite ) The batter was light & crispy and the fish was lovely big flakes of perfectly cooked haddock ( I'am sure it was haddock and not cod ) So where in Disney is your favourite fried fish & chips ( fries ) ;)

This maybe should have had a thread of its own but why oh why does the Rose & Crown insist on giving us frozen chips? Nothing like the real things back in the UK. And don't get me started on the peas........
Most people in the US would have no idea what fresh chips are. We are so used to the frozen French Fries served in most every restaurant.

I really don't have an opinion....just a few observations...

I've had the fish & chips at R&C, Yorkshire and CHH- while all were good...nothing was stand out exceptional. I mean, I've had it in London and while that was better...and the chips and peas were definitely better...it wasn't sooooo much better that I'd throw stones at what I've had at WDW.

I also think it's funny how this thread has shifted towards fish & chips. Maybe it's that we spent our summers down the shore and every seafood restaurant had a wide array of fried/broiled/grilled seafood platters, maybe it's that I worked in a really good seafood place for a while owned by Jersey and Boston folks and it had everything I grew up with at the shore (plus knock your socks off lobster rolls- YUM), or maybe its all of the Gulf Coast style seafood restaurants we have here that wouldn't be complete without at least 4-8 different fried combo platter options that always contain some kind of fried fish...but either way- I don't think fish & chips first when I think fried fish. If anything, I picture a fried seafood platter...either the mild New England style or the more spicy southern style. While I've never had it- the seafood combination platter on Fulton's menu looks more like what I'd think of when you say "fried fish." Curious how that measures up when looking at this beyond fish & chips...and if there are any other similar options at WDW.
