Don't know if anyone can help me here, but our last visit in 2010,we used the " key of the world card",to purchase meals, drinks,Souvineers, etc, and ran up a bill of around $2000.but when we went to pay with our visa at the hotel on the last day,we got a better exchange rate?.Can anyone tell me what the exchange rate is at the moment for dollars against the British pound.?

You also need to remember that the exchange rate changes every day either up or down. You will have a better idea what the exchange rate is for your trip if you check it a day or so before you come. All you have to do is use Google search and you will be able to find out the current exchange rate at that time.

Also note that the exchange rate that you get through a credit card isn't always the same rate that you'd get if you're going to a bank or one of those Travelex windows to exchange currency. The credit cards often give you a better rate, because the transaction fees paid for by the seller (Disney in this case) offset some of the cost.

At the cash exchanges, their profit is usually built into their exchange rates, giving you less money after the exchange.

Check with your credit card for their policies on foreign currency transactions.

Many Thanks Everyone.

Cheers to all for these answers.I try not to carry to much cash[dollars] with me around the parks so it would be easier to use the key/world card then square up my bill at the end of the vacation.
