The Amazing Race Returns 11/4

Totally agree - I love the brother-sister engineers. There seem to be lot more annoying people this season though don't you think?
Yes. There seems to be very few pleasant teams this time around. On the plus side, we'll always have villains to root against!

Agreed, Nemo14.
The dating goths kind of remind me of Adam & Rebecca from a few years ago. Adam was the geek who liked to wear his hair with fake devil horns (I called him "Heckboy" during that season). Anyway, Vixen appears to be as tough/capable as Rebecca, and Kynt appears to be as big a wimp as Adam. On the plus side for Kynt, he's at least aware of his wimpitude.

Adam might be the most annoying man in AR history. The fake horns, the whole thing with his mother, and didn't he take another team's car once? By the end of the race Rebecca didn't even talk to him, but I think they did finish third.

Four shows so far, four Philiminations, and four teams to root for:

Philiminated
1. Ari & Staella. Looked like they were going to be real annoying if they stuck around. Good riddance.
2. Kate & Pat. Seemed like nice ladies, but didn't have a gear above LOW.
3. Marianna & Julia. Should not have given Lorena any suggestions on camel-milking and should have run with the camels knowing they were in next-to-last place at the time.
4. Lorena & Jason. Her shrieking at the camel was certainly a bad behavior highlight (and only three legs into the race!). Good riddance.

The Bad
1. Shana & Jennifer. Think they are Dustin & Kandace. They're miles away from the class, style, and efficiency that was the trademark of D & K's two great races. "These people attract flies" ... way to be respectful, UGLY Americans.
2. Nate & Jennifer. They crossed over from sort of annoying to all-out hate after complaining that Azaria & Hendekea didn't let them win the last leg. Entitled much?
3. Rachel & TK. I'm just not a hippie fan.

The four (3.5, actually) worth rooting for
4. Ronald & Christina. I still can't stand him, but she's a sweetheart.
3. Azaria & Hendekea. They bicker and he's a bit overbearing, but they make quick, efficient work of the tasks.
2. Nicolas & Donald. Grandpa's got a lot of spunk (and some mad camel-milking and gold-panning skillz), and junior seems pretty level-headed. They're fun to watch.
1. Kynt & Vyxsin. This team works extremely well together, knows their own strengths, and are great with the locals. And Vyxsin's pretty hot, too. :lookaroun I can't wait to see what these two look like when the race drags on and the make-up wears off!

I was a big fan of Azaria and Hendekea until the last episode... Azaria said Hendekea had some ''physical limitations'' and she responded ''Like I'm a [blank] or something.'' The blank was bleeped out, but it sounded like she said ''.'' If that's the case, then in my mind the only team left to root for now is the Goths.

Interesting Final Three. I'm pulling for Nicholas & Don; I'm indifferent to the other two teams. The best part about the finale: No Nate & Jen! What a fabulous philimination that was tonight.

I'm rooting for Nick and Don too!
Pretty sure he is the oldest person to make it this far!

Nate and Jen are a sad excuse for a couple. Bet they are over pretty quick!

Glad to see the Father and Daughter getting along so much better than they started out!

It's another great season and should be a fun conclusion!!!

It was nice to see a final three with no team that I absolutely despised. I'm still a little disappointed in the result, as it would've been cool for a team with an older person to win. If Nick & Don don't forget to pick up their bag, the result could've been so much different. Oh, well.

The final challenge: I would have arranged the items in order by leg, then picked out the ones to fulfill the requirements in the clue.

They were screening applicants for the next Amazing Race about two months ago here in Chicago, so I'm guessing we'll get at least one more season. This is such a good show - the tasks are interesting, the editing is perfect, and the visuals are stunning. I look forward to seeing another bunch of cool and exotic destinations in the spring or summer!

I had been rotting for the victors all season. They genuinely seemed nice and you never really saw them lose their cool. But I would not have been dissappointed in any of those final 3 teams winning.

What a great show--this was one of my favorite seasons and I really look forward to our next installment.

This was our first time to watch, this season. Very enjoyable, very fun to watch (especially Nate and Jen's meltdowns...pray they never marry ). Out of the final three, TK and Rachel were our pick because of their resiliency and they never got upset, keeping everything in perspective.

I would of liked Nick and Don to win. I'm OK with TK and Rachel winning, but it does bother me when a team that finished last in a non elimination leg wins the whole thing. It happened with the Hippies and Uchena and Joyce too.

Reality buzz reported that AR 13 has been picked up by CBS. No concrete date as to when it'll air, but they think late spring.

I don't usually like to bring up threads from page 3 but here's some cool information for all of the Amazing Race fans here. If you have a facebook account, look up Nicholas Fulks or Nicholas Elvis Fulks and ask nicely to be his friend. That is Nick of team Nick and Don and he has written 2 very detailed accounts of the first 2 legs of the race. They are a great read and provide alot of information about some of the behind the scenes aspects of the race that we don't usually hear much about. It is interesting to hear his thoughts on the race and his fellow racers and to learn why they made some of the decisions they made throughout the race. Hopefully he will post his thoughts on the remaining legs of the race and CBS won't force him to take it down for violating their strict contracts.

Someone from the boards over on Televisionwithoutpity.com has asked his permission to copy and paste them to that site. If he allows that then Yes I can post them here but i'd rather not without permission.
