2011: It's now 2011 Animal Kingdom is 2 years away from it's 15th anniversary as it continues to evolve with smaller additions for the park this year and next year to get the park ready for it's biggest expansion yet which is the highly immersive Australia and Wonders of New Zealand themed area slated to open during the 15th anniversary of the park where it will be a huge success leading to increased attendance and profits for the park and Disney World as Universal Orlando continues to ride the success of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter by beginning increased investment and expansion plans for the rest of the decade but thankfully in this Alternate History Timeline Disney's increased theme park investments and expansions have helped pr epare them to compete with Universal especially in Florida where 2012-2019 will see new attractions and expansions every year copying Universal's growth and expansion this is all possible thanks to the leadership of Parks President Tom Staggs and Bob Iger who have increased investments at all Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide especially at the flagship resort Walt Disney World including in Animal Kingdom which will see more exciting additions and expansions lead by Joe Rhode that ensure the park is even more greater then it was on opening day for years to come.
