Welcome to the The Alternate Disney Parks Timeline Reality: What if Euro Disney never failed in this blog I will create a timeline where Euro Disney has a successful opening from the start avoiding the major cancellations and budget cuts of projects that lasted for the years and decades that followed Euro Disney's major failure but in the Alternate timeline I am creating Euro Disney not only succeeds it changes the history of Disney Parks and the themed entertainment industry as well because Disney would be growing and investing for the rest of the 20th century and while into the 21st century remaining a serious competitor to their competition including Universal Parks and Resorts and Seaworld Parks. The Timeline will begin in 1984 when Michael Eisner and Frank Wells come to the company because the 80's are an important part of this Alternate Disney Parks Timeline since it is the basis to the creation of Euro Disney in the first place and set the company on a path very different from the reality of the regular timeline we all know today because in this timeline Michael and Frank achieve their grand plans that would have changed Disney and the Parks in amazing ways that we can only dream about since our reality turned out so different this Alternate timeline will be about Disney Parks and how their competitors would have been affected if Euro Disney never failed from the 1980's to the modern day this blog will be a What if Timeline that us fans would have loved to see happen and I hope this blog makes you all happy.

====The 1980's: The Arrival of Michael and Frank====

1984: In 1984 the Walt Disney Company still in the Post-Walt and Roy Disney era under the leadership of Ron miller in the early 80's the company which is in the darkest time of it's history where the very survival of the company is at because a corporate raider named Saul Steinberg attempted to buy the company in a hostile takeover and sell it in parts to the highest bidder in a fate similar to what MGM went through around the same time but Disney was able to avoid this fate by successfully keeping Saul away in the wake of the attempted hostile takeover of the company Roy E Disney and other shareholders came together and launched a Save Disney campaign to remove CEO Ron miller and replace him with a new one to help save the company. Later in 1984 Roy and the Shareholder's efforts prove successful for the first time in the history of the company outsiders we're brought in by Roy E Disney to run the company those outsiders would change the company forever and those outsiders we're Michael Eisner former president of Paramount pictures and Frank G Wells the president of Warner Brothers and in September 1984 Michael and Frank officially become CEO and President of the companies bringing new leadership to save the company and forever change it's future immediately they begin to turn things around with their leadership style that is similar to Walt and Roy's leadership beginning the second half of the 1980's with the leaders they need to lead the company to a bright future.

1985: in the beginning of 1985 Michael Eisner notices the parks are dated and seen as places not for young people 12 and up in response he starts to begin work to refresh the parks and add new things to attract more guests 12 and up to their Parks so he goes to Imagineering with his teen son and see projects they are working on during his visit his Michael and his son see the concepts for attractions that would become Star Tours and Splash Mountain and they are greenlit while those attractions are in development Michael starts making changes to the Parks with the addition of Videopolis a nighttime entertainment experience in Disneyland for guests 12 and up featuring music and entertainment for the young adult generation and he also begins to introduce Disney characters to Epcot to help boost attendance but Michael had another to plan that will bring the King pop to the Parks with the help of George Lucas who was already working on Star tours and in July 1985 Captain EO starts filming for a 1986 debut on both coasts while Star Tours is in development. During the same time MCA Universal buys land up I-4 10 minutes away Walt Disney World for a new Florida Studio and Theme park that would arrive 5 years later but their plans we're known by Michael Eisner who was President of Paramount want to an event in Hollywood earlier in the 80's where Universal shared their plans this day was the beginning of a competitive rivalry in the theme park industry and later in 1985 Universal announces Universal Studios Florida but unknown to them a movie themed pavilion for Epcot has grown to big to be a Epcot pavilion so it becomes a new theme park that will begin the theme park wars which will continue into the modern day forever changing the industry forever.

1986: In 1986 after a successful year of theme park attendance growth thanks to the changes Michael and Frank started making to the Parks in 1985 they we're ready to begin even more major changes to the Parks the year started with the opening of the Living Seas pavilion at Epcot on January-4th-1986 featuring the largest aquarium at the time to give Epcot a new addition to increase attendance and compete with Seaworld after the opening of the Living Seas later in 1986 on September 12th Epcot and Disneyland opened Captain EO a 3-D Sc-fi Musical spectacular starting Michael Jackson and the first attraction in collaboration with George Lucas in the magic eye theatre on both coasts while this those attractions debut throughout 1986 Star Tours and multiple another projects for the Parks are under construction and in development including new theme parks in Florida and Europe. In the middle of 1986 Disney MGM Studios is announced and begins Construction at Walt Disney World along with additional hotels and attractions for the resort and at the same time this project begins Michael and Frank begin early work on a European Disney Resort and start looking for a perfect site to host the Park. Meanwhile Universal finalizes their plans for Universal Studios Florida by removing the Studio tour from the plans and taking popular elements of the original tour by turning them into standalone rides in response to Disney MGM Studios and at this moment a new theme park competitor was born in Orlando Florida.

Truth be told.. it never truly “failed”. The issue was they relied far too much on hotel bookings rather than park attendance, ridership, and food & beverage & merch sales. Eisner’s focus was in the wrong place and he was surrounding himself around the wrong people rather than the folks who actually knew what they were doing in the themed entertainment realm.

1987: In 1987 Michael and Frank's plan to modernize the parks and bring more guests to the Parks with new attractions based on the biggest movies at the time along with the addition of new entertainment offerings help to increase the attendance and profits of the Parks this plan to improve the Parks brings a new attraction based on the biggest movies of all time Star Wars. On January-9th the first starspeeder 3000 launches from Disneyland with the opening of Star Tours a motion simulator adventure through the Star Wars Universe to the moon of Endor in a Starspeeder 3000 piloted by Captain Rex when the ride it's an immediate success and plans are made for more Star Tours attractions in other Disney theme parks which continues their collaboration with George Lucas following the success of Star Tours attendance increases at Disneyland. Later in 1987 Construction on Disney MGM Studios along other new additions for Walt Disney World including Hotels, Pleasure Island and a Waterpark continuing you progress while Universal Studios Florida is being built a few miles away up I-4 in order to make a 1990 opening. Meanwhile Michael and Frank not only continue focusing on the American Disney Parks they continue working on their plans for a European Disney Park and they select a site outside of Paris, France which will become Euro Disneyland Resort with the site chosen Disney and the French government reach an agreement to build Euro Disneyland Resort which will begin construction in 1988 for a 1992 opening that will be very successful new Park for the company and became one of the greatest Disney Castle Parks ever built with the leadership of Michael and Frank leading the Imagineers to greatness for years to come.

1988: Following a successful 1987 Michael and Frank continue changing and improving the parks in preparation for the arrival of the 1990's and Universal Studios Florida in 2 years time that will forever change the themed entertainment industry but in the mean time progress is continuing on multiple ongoing projects including new Parks and major expansion of the flagship resort Walt Disney World. Michael's plan to rapidly expand the Parks is underway around the world and it is clearly seen that Walt Disney World is main focus on all major expansion later in 1988 Epcot saw the addition of Norway with the first thrill ride in Park Malestorm a Norway themed Water flume dark ride with 2 drops and Magic Kingdom sees the addition of Mickey's birthday land in celebration of Mickey's Birthday originally meant to be temporary elsewhere at Walt Disney World two highly detailed themed hotels the Grand Floridian Beach Resort a victorian themed Deluxe monorail resort and The Caribbean Beach Resort a 200 acre Caribbean themed moderate resort the first one ever built by Disney both open throughout 1988 bringing much needed additional hotel rooms and more affordable options to attract guests to stay on Property the new hotels are just the start of a major expansion for Walt Disney World that will add new things to do and increase the number of hotels for the increased attendance to Disney World. Throughout 1988 both Disney MGM Studios and the competing park Universal Studios Florida can making progress on their construction and announce their opening years of 1989 and 1990 which will launch the themed entertainment industry to new heights and forever change Orlando. Meanwhile across the pond in Europe in the beautiful country of France Disney breaks ground on the Euro Disneyland Resort in Marne-la-Valle just outside of Paris with easy access to the city the resort will feature 1 Theme Park, 2 Hotels, Disney Village and a campground with room for additional future expansion for the Euro Disneyland Resort which will be successful and become the most visited tourist destination in Europe when it opens in 1992 with 1988 behind them the future of Disney Parks looks bright for the big year of 1989 and the upcoming new decade which Michael and Frank have big plans for that will forever change the company and the theme park industry for decades to come.

1989: In 1989 Michael and Frank's biggest year yet of major changes and expansions to the Parks and continuing construction of Euro Disneyland Resort is about to change Walt Disney World and the Parks in an incredible way that will dominate the theme park industry even with the arrival of Universal in 1990 1 year away. Later in the year on May 1st 1989 Disney MGM Studios the 3rd Disney World Theme park and the 5th Disney Park overall at the time offically opens with 7 Attractions including the Studio backlot tour tram ride and walkthrough experience through a working film studio and the thesis attraction The Great Movie Ride a 22 minute Dark ride through the greatest movies in history with detailed showscenes and advanced AA Fiqures including the first ever A-100 Fiqure in the wizard of oz scene immediately when the Park opens it is a success and needs to be expanded quickly luckily 2 additional attractions arrive which are the Indina Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular a stunt show experience that opened in July and Star Tours an east coast version of the hugely popular Star tours motion simulator adventure to the moon of endor opened in December meanwhile in May 1989 Pleasure Island the first ever nightclub district created to compete with church street station in Orlando and 1 month later in June 1989 Disney's Typhoon Lagoon waterpark opened on 60 acres with a tropical theme and water attractions including slides and a massive wave pool with 3 major added to Walt Disney World attendance and room occupancy increase through 1989. Later in the summer on July-17th-1989 Splash Mountain a new log flume with multiple drops including a 52 foot drop and showscenes opens at Disneyland bringing a new thrill ride to the happiest place on Earth in a new area called Critter Country and the attraction is a immediate success plans begin for new versions of Splash Mountain for Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland. Meanwhile in France the construction of Euro Disneyland Resort continues for a 1992 opening and plans for a second phase begin but the resort will only have 2 hotels at opening because they want to focus on the Park to ensure a successful opening year for Euro Disney Resort a project Michael and Frank wants to succeed so the company can continue to grow rapidly in the theme park industry in the new decade which will be a decade full of major projects and expansion that will change the industry forever and the continuation of major changes Michael and Frank have made to change the Parks for the better throughout their first 5 years at the company now as 1989 ends the company is now ready for the new decade the 1990's and eventually into the new millennium that will follow the future for the company continues to look bright.

I hope there is still going to be Roger Rabbit attractions, Dick Tracy's Crimestoppers, etc are still be part of Disney Decade after Euro Disney was never failed and most successful.

==== The 1990's: The Disney Decade and The Success of Euro Disneyland====

1990: It's now 1990 the start of the greatest decade in the history of the Walt Disney Company thanks to the grand plans of Michael and Frank who have unveiled plans for a Disney Decade that will change the course of the theme park industry and the company their plan is to expand their existing Theme parks, expand the resorts, launch new experiences/concepts and build new parks at every resort and in new locations around the world it all begins this year through the next decade thanks to the record breaking opening year of Euro Disneyland Resort will have in 1992. Later in 1990 Walt Disney World adds 4 new hotels in the newly created Epcot Resort Area those hotels are the yacht club, beach club, Grand Dolphin Resort and The Majestic Swan Resorts which in this Alternate reality are all Disney owned the overall look of yacht and beach club are the same but the Grand Dolphin and Majestic Swan resorts are the grandest of 4 new hotels with grand ocean and garden themes inspired by the oceans and the gardens of the world the hotels have art deco and art nouveau designs with the signature sculptures of the dolphin and swan on top of the hotels the 4 new hotels increase room capacity, convention space and room occupancy within months of opening but those are hotels are just the beginning of what's to come in the 1990's for the Parks including Walt Disney World. Throughout 1990 at Walt Disney World Epcot sees the addition of International Gateway a second entrance to the park with access to the new resort area and Disney MGM Studios continues to be a success so much that the Backlot tour is split into 2 separate attractions to create more space for guests in the park other major change was the addition of a play area and Muppets show to add more capacity to the park while additional attractions are in development for the Park. Meanwhile a few miles away up I-4 on June-7th-1990 Universal Studios Florida officially opens with 12 Attractions including rides based on King Kong, Jaws, Earthquake and ET but has a day full of technical issues and power outages overall the Park becomes a success and be able to succeed while Disney remains at the top of the theme park industry for decades to come. While Disney and Universal dominate Orlando across the pond in France construction on Euro Disneyland Resort continues making great progress and is on for a 1992 opening that will be a massive success for Disney Parks and the company as a whole making Michael Eisner dramatically increasing budgets and dream up new ideas to change the future of the company with the guidance of Frank Wells the future has never looked this bright for the Parks with a new resort on the horizon in 1992 and a limitless future.

1991: In 1991 with the start of the Disney decade 1 year in the first additions of the greatest decade in Disney Parks history start opening or continue their construction on both coasts and in Europe under the guidance of Michael and Frank and the creative direction of Imagineers dreaming up and building amazing new magic for the Parks that will make the Parks the greatest theme parks in the industry.
Later in 1991 The first Disney Decade additions begin their debuts with the opening of the Young Indiana Jones Stunt show in a newly built stunt show theater in big thunder ranch at Disneyland, Muppet Vision 3-D at Disney MGM Studios which is a part of phase 1 of Muppets Studios and a New Pavilion at Epcot but those are just some of the new additions and at Walt Disney World you see the most expansion of the Disney Decade.

Throughout 1991 Walt Disney World sees the addition of Muppet Studios Phase 1 at Disney MGM Studios with Muppet Vision 3-D, Muppet Studio store, Rizzio's Pizza and Swedish Cheif Kitchen and a Spain Pavilion at Epcot with a recreation of famous landmarks of Spain along with shops, dining, entertainment, exhibits and 2 Attractions Tha la Spain river tour a 10 minute boat ride tour of Spain's natural wonders, culture and cities and The Journey of Spain a circlevision film experience about the wonders and beauty of Spain the pavilion is located between the Outpost and Germany pavilion on the site of the cancelled Soviet Union pavilion that was changed to Spain in 1989 because of political and economic reasons beyond Disney's control in the original planned country pavilion host. While parks debut new additions at Disney World the resort introduces 3 new hotels The Disney's Port Orleans and Dixie Landings moderate resorts themed to New Orleans and Southern River towns bringing more affordable room offerings to guests who want to stay on property and the 3rd hotel is Disney's Old key west a key west themed deluxe villas resort which launches Michael's newest idea Disney Vacation Club a Disney timeshare company that will offer new vacation adventures around the world at timeshare resorts including some that will be built by Disney.

Meanwhile at Universal Studios Florida after a tough opening year full of technical issues with it's star attractions that caused high levels of downtime daily to the point where they had to give free tickets but this year they opened Back to the Future The Ride a state of the art motion simulator where you join Doc Brown on a time travel adventure to the future and past in a Delorian time machine to stop Biff from changing the future this attraction immediately becomes popular and has very good reliabilty it increases attendance to new levels becoming the second most popular park in Orlando Florida

Thousands of miles from Florida Across the pond in France Euro Disneyland continues to make progress towards it's Spring 1992 opening and construction reaches a key milestone with the reveal of the Sleeping Beauty Castle inspired by the castles of Europe and further completion of the incredible themed lands of the most beautiful castle park ever built by Disney lead by the legendary Disney Imagineer Tony Baxter who has lead the greatest imagineers of the Eisner era where Michael and Frank provide limitless potential to WDI throughout their era of incredible leadership.

With The biggest year for Disney Parks on the horizon for 1992 the future of the Parks is the brightest it has ever been and further proof that Michael and Frank are saving the company and changing it forever.

I hope Disney and Amblin have a partnership deal to let Roger Rabbit's Hollywood opening in 1994 at Disney-MGM Studios with Maroon Studios and Toontown. Also Universal's Cartoon World is still happening instead Islands of Adventure, and it will opened in 1998/1999 with attractions and shows based on DC Comics, Jay Ward, Dr. Seuss, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, Peanuts, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Nickelodeon, and Marvel.

1992: It's now 1992 and the Walt Disney Company is entering the biggest year in the history of it's Parks since the opening of Walt Disney World in 1971 because Euro Disneyland Resort the crown jewel of Michael and Frank's Disney Decade plan opens beginning a new era of expansion to the the parks and the building of more incredible experiences including Theme Parks and new vacation experiences around the world that embrace the Disney Difference and the high standards we except from Disney Parks something important to Michael and Frank who want greatness to lead the company to a bright future while into the 21st century.

4 months into 1992 on April 12th 1992 after 5 years of development and construction Euro Disneyland Resort opens to the public in Marne la velle France just outside of Paris France with a crowd of 70,000 guests ready to experience the newest Disney Resort created by the incredible Disney Imagineers opening day is so successful the park closes to capacity for the whole day, parking reaches capacity, the hotels are fully booked and traffic has backed up on the highway leading to the Parks just to experience Euro Disneyland Resort and be a part of the historic grand opening celebration featuring a dedication from Michael and Frank who are joined by Disney Characters, French government officials and Celebrities from around the world this celebration is the grandest opening day in the Disney Park until the next resort opens with the park and resort now open what does it offer for it's the first year well it features Euro Disneyland Park, Festival Disney, The Euro Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Village Lake, Parking lot complex and space for future development of Euro Disneyland Resort. The Crown Jewel of the whole Resort is the 140 acre Euro Disneyland Park with 5 themed lands( Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland) with the grand and beautiful 167 foot Sleeping Beauty Castle rising up in the center of Euro Disneyland this whole park's design was lead by Imagineer Tony Baxter and his team of incredible imagineers he assembled to create the most beautiful Disney Castle Park he oversaw the amazing attractions and lands of this park including new takes on classic Disney Attractions Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Classic Fantasyland Dark rides, Tea cups, Dumbo the flying elephant, It's a Small World, Autopia and in the future Space Mountain this is along with new attractions created just for the park like Ailce's Curious Labyrinth, Adventure Isle and the beloved Le Visionatrium a Steampunk themed circle vision time traveling adventure film where you join Timekeeper and Nine eye on a journey through time in the style of Jules Verne and H.G Wells this attraction becomes one of the most popular in Euro Disneyland until a mountain rises up in a couple years in a mysterious area of Discoveryland still under construction in Discoveryland because of it's vast size and this attraction will launch the park to even more success but the most grandest part of all of Euro Disneyland is The Steampunk Victorian future themed land Discoveryland a full land replacement of Tomorrowland that finally solves the Tomorrowland problem once and for all the result is a science fiction version of the Future with the highest level of detail the idea came from the never built Discovery Bay once planned for Disneyland which serves as inspiration for Discoveryland and the future of this themed area will make it even part with the massive mountain rising up over the next couple years.

With the Successful opening and record breaking attendance and profits of Euro Disneyland Resort plans immediately begin to expand the sixth Disney park in the world and increase room capacity to meet the unprecedented demand those plans also include a second gate Disney MGM Studios Europe and a Waterpark but the resort was designed with space for more than just those 2 parks but also a 3rd theme park for later in the future as part of the land purchase deal with the French Government that requires a new park to be opened at year 10 and year 25 meaning more Disney Parks will join the family of Parks around the world the success of the resort will be shared with all the sister parks and resorts of Euro Disneyland Resort for years to come including new parks that will rise up around the world growing the Disney Parks Empire.

Later in 1992 Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland open Splash Mountain on October 1st 1992 those are the second and third versions of the hugely popular Log flume attraction from Disneyland but with differences wider flumes, 8 person 2 seat Log boats and additional drops within the indoor portion with each further differences in Tokyo like a indoor queue and loading/unloading areas plus the ability to adjust the water splash in order to accommodate the cold winter weather and hot humid Summers that has Japan which the Florida Version does not have those additional features because the weather is more balanced and warmer year round. Also at Walt Disney World Spectromagic a new nighttime parade debuts at Magic Kingdom and at Disney MGM Studios Voyage of the Little Mermaid show and the AFI Gallery debuts but work also begins on a massive expansion that will significantly increase attraction and guest capacity of the popular young Disney Park at Walt Disney World. Also in 1992 Disney announces more hotels for Disney World and reveal plans for Tomorrowland 2055 for both coasts along with Sunset Blvd, Crimestoppers, The Twlight Zone Tower of Terror, Roger Rabbits Hollywood and Toontown on both coasts and they also announce Discovery Mountain, Ariel's undersea Journey, Storybook boats/Casey Jr and Indina Jones Forribbean Temple for the next 2-4 years. I hope Disney and Amblin have a partnership deal to let Roger Rabbit's Hollywood opening in 1994 at Disney-MGM Studios with Maroon Studios and Toontown. Also Universal's Cartoon World is still happening instead Islands of Adventure, and it will opened in 1998/1999 with attractions and shows based on DC Comics, Jay Ward, Dr. Seuss, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, Peanuts, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Nickelodeon, and Marvel.

No Islands of Adventure is still happening but they will have DC because Disney buys Marvel out of bankruptcy and Warner Brothers decides to pull the license with Six Flags to use DC and Looney tunes in their parks because WB declares Six flags does not fit the brand which bankrupts Six Flags all the parks get sold to different owners mostly theme park and entertainment companies. Amblin on the another hand develops a good relationship with Disney it will never leads to the creation of Dreamworks SKG in 1995 and Steven Speliberg has a presence at Disney and Universal parks.

Later in the year at Walt Disney World adds Mickey's Royale Celebration the first daily Castle stage show in Magic Kingdom history which will not make the Castle cake possible 3 years later because the water fountain and fireworks effects will not allow it and also Michael will reject the ugly cake castle overlay so more traditional decor will be put on the Castle also in Magic Kingdom Dumbo the flying elephant gets upgraded and replaced with a 16 Elephant version to increase capacity, Mickey's Starland closes for to make way for a major new land that will bring toons to the Kingdom for it's 25th anniversary, The Train begins a 1 year closure due to construction and Tomorrowland begins closing attractions for replacements or rennovations involved with the 2 year phased opening of Tomorrowland 2055 to keep capacity up while the Eastern half of the Park from Starland to Carousel of Progress gets basically re-built again in the a project that is 5 times larger than the New Fantasyland project in our reality in this alternate reality this project is the largest in park history until 2010. At Epcot and MGM Studios new attractions debut Epcot gets an updated Horzions saving the ride from a sad unnecessary demolition and it also debuts a updated Land Pavilion with Circle of Life and Living with the Land plus a full rebuild of Kitchen Kabre with A-100's of all 1982 AA's and new audio systems plus a new pre-show with a AA farmer and talking pig to give a Tki room style pre-show to explain the importance of food and how it impacts the world in a song called The Power of Food this is the start of the first major updating of Epcot that will continue the theme of the Park with the use of Characters guests know to reinforce the message of Epcot. Meanwhile at MGM Studios The Voyage of the Little Mermaid closes for a Aladdin show, Indina Jones Stunt show is updated, Star Tours get a more fully detailed Endor based facade, a new Parade debuts, Sc-Fi Drive Inn and the Commasary restaurants open along with the Sc-fi Lounge to improve the park ahead of the Major expansion coming in 1994 and 1995 that will eventually allow the Studio areas to be phased out by 2015. While the US Disney Parks continue major projects the 1 year old Euro Disneyland adds the Indiana Jones Temple Mine Carts coaster in Adventureland the first phase of the Forbidden Temple project and an Aladdin walkthrough is added to increase capacity while works continues on multiple new attractions outside the Park Festival Disney is renamed Disney Village, Disney's Davy Crockett ranch campground and cabins resort and the TGV Station opens further boasting attendance even more at Euro Disneyland Resort and they announce a new hotel for 1995/96 to meet increased guest demand of the very popular Euro Disneyland Resort. Also Eisner has his idea as Mickey and Minnie are finally getting married, so here is the plan for them in 1990s:

The concept was to not only have Mickey and Minnie get married, but to make a year long event out of it. The idea was that Mickey and Minnie would get engaged on Valentine’s Day, get a ring in April at Tiffany & Co (surely a sponsorship opportunity), and finally get married in June during the height of the Disney vacationing season and during a televised special. Lastly the two would honeymoon in Paris, not too far off from the relatively new EuroDisney. It was packed with all of the tie-ins and synergy that Eisner was known for. However ultimately the idea of Mickey and Minnie getting married, and all the implications and complications that came with it, were just too radical for many at the company, and the idea was shot down.

1994: It's now 1994 Michael and Frank continue their grand Disney Decade which has increased attendance and profits across all 6 Disney Parks and 3 Resorts this helps keep the Disney Decade on track with it's ambitious plans through the upcoming New Millennium everything keeps moving forward at WDI and across the company and it stays that way because Frank cancels the infamous ski trip due to a major announcement event he and Michael host about major news for the company the purchase of ABC/Capital Cities and the removal of Jeffrey Ketzenberg who wants Frank's job but the board ejects him from the company who creates Dreamworks without Steven Spelberg who has remained to keep a relationship between Disney and Amblin those serious of events keep the company on track for the new millennium with Michael and Frank still together avoiding the Loss of Frank preventing Michael from stepping away from creative decisions that will ultimately keep him a well loved CEO at Disney until 2006 when he retires but until then he and Frank continue to lead the Parks and company to greatness.

Just a couple months into 1994 Disney Announces Disney's America a regional Disney Park themed to American History located in Haymarket Virginia and planned to open in 4 years the Park will feature 7 themed areas based on American History with Attractions to educate and entertain guests about the history of America in a way only Disney can do the park is meet with support from the state of Virginia and the locals of Haymarket but not all people are supportive of the Park in fact a vocal group of Historians and representatives for the state of Virginia in Washington along with people who don't want Disney to build in the location they have chosen near a historic civil war site this would ultimately lead to a uphill battle to bringing this Park to reality and would continue through 1994 delaying the park to 1999 but could get delayed further until they can move forward.

Meanwhile at Walt Disney World the Magic Kingdom opens the first phase of Tomorrowland 2055 with the addition of Timekeeper a American Disney Parks version of the popular circle vision attraction from Euro Disneyland, Voyage through the Universe a new Universe voyage themed omimover ride with a narration by James Earl Jones replacing Take Flight, Tomorrowland 2055 Transit Peoplemover a update and retheme of the Wedway Peoplemover and Astro Flying Saucer Orbiter a Science Fiction UFO themed Flying UFO hub and spoke spinner with 16 4 person Flying Saucers that guests can control with joysticks located on top of the Tomorrowland Futuristic Transportation Tower station formerly Rocketower Plaza that has been given a highly detailed futuristic SC-Fi theme in addition to the first attractions of Tomorrowland 2055 the following shops and restaurants Star Traders, Cosmic Rays Starlight Café formerly Tomorrowland Terrace and Futuristic Grill Station formerly Rocketower Snacks re-open with new highly detailed Sc-Fi theming and all restrooms are given futuristic Sc-Fi theming the rest of Tomorrowland continues it's transformation with phase 2 in progress for 1995 which includes moving Carousel of Progress to Epcot which started in January to begin moving in the new Carousel theater at Epcot while the old Carousel theater gets transformed into a new show also coming to Disneyland and later in 1994 The New Highly detailed Futuristic Sc-Fi themed Skyway Station re-opens and the WDW Railroad re-opened on November 15th after closing for the construction start of Toontown. Meanwhile at Epcot Innoventions a interactive pavilion with 30 different interactive experiences opens replacing Commicore East and West Innoventions also brings Electric Umbrella and Starise Pizza and Pasta newly renovated counter service locations plus the addition of Coca Cola Ice Station and Future Mart a newly renovated gift shop elsewhere in Epcot Honey I Shrunk the Audience a 3-D show in the Magic Eye Theatre at Imagination Pavilion opens and Spaceship Earth is given a major update with the start of ATT's renewed sponsorship this is happening while the new home for Carousel of Progress is under construction later in the year Disney announces the Brazil Pavilion for the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney World in 1996 and The Horzions of Progress Pavilion( expansion of Horzions) will continue the new additions for Epcot in the Disney Decade.

At Disney's MGM Studios the park opens their new themed land Sunset Blvd on July-22nd-1994 with the Red Car Trolley Line a Trolley ride down Sunset Blvd with a station at the Trolley barn and at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Sunset also features The Carthay Circle Theater an indoor show theater replacing Theater of the Stars which was demolished to make way for the entrance to Sunset Blvd the theater houses Snow White's Enchanting Musical a new musical stage show based on the 1936 Classic animated film across the street from the Carthay Circle Theater is the Sunset Blvd Taxi Company building which houses Benny's Wild Hollywood Taxi Tours a dark ride based on Who Framed Roger Rabbit where you join Roger Rabbit and Detective Eddie on a high speed chase through Hollywood from Judge Doom who is chasing them down with the Toon Patrol to arrest Roger Rabbit who has been framed in this ride Eddie and Roger are recruiting us to help them bring Judge Doom to justice but then things go wrong when Judge Doom suddenly appears inside the Taxi Company building immediately the pre-show ends and we are rushed to the Taxi Boarding depot where Benny the Cab is waiting for guests to board each Cab train features 3 2 person Cabs that can be spinned like the tea cups through the 5 minute high speed chase adventure through Hollywood this ride has the same layout as the another Roger Rabbit ride in Disneyland which is different from this ride beyond both this ride and Carthay Circle at the back on Sunset Blvd lies a 199ft dilapidated 1930's Hollywood Hotel rising mysteriously over Sunset blvd inside lies a new type of dropping Thrill ride that is seen dropping from outside within elevator shifts but what is this mysterious attraction. This Attraction is the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror a 1930's Hotel themed where you board a Elevator to the Twilight Zone because in this hotel on a dark stormy night on October 31st 1939 Five people board an Elevator but then lighting strucks the hotel and mysteriously vanish to the Fifth Dimension known as the Twilight Zone this story is explained to us by our Host Rod Sterling in the library pre-show after the pre-show guests exit into the boiler room board their 12 person Elevator Cab to begin their ride to the Twilight Zone this is where you Elevators lift up the first elevator shafts to the famous showcenes we all know where the Five People reappear after this scene the Elevator Cab using AGV technology exits the shaft into the Fifth Dimension scene after this the Elevator approaches Elevator doors and enters into the Drop Shaft where the Elevator rapidly goes up and when it is at top the doors in front of the shaft open up revealing a view of the Park before dropping at a high speed faster than gravity that lifts guests out of their seats before ending the ride where the elevator reaches unloading and guests unload then the Elevator Cab using AGV moves back to loading ready for the next guests who will enter the Twilight Zone at the exit guests can see their picture and then exit through Hollywood Tower Gifts the ride gift shop. The Rest of Sunset Blvd features Shops and Restaurants along with restrooms on the left and right sides of the Street the following shops and restaurants on the right side are Legends of Hollywood, Planet Hollywood Store, Sunset Couture, Beverly Sunset Gifts, Hollywood Ice Cream( Ice Cream kiosk location) and Carthy Circle Lounge( next to the theater) and the Shops and Restaurants on the right side are Tinstletown Fashions, Staring Rolls Bakery, Seven Seas Club( 250 seat 1930's Hollywood themed table service restaurant and bar inspired by the Rocketeer movie), Rocketeer Suppliers, Film Travel Co( Travel gear shop), Sunset Brewers Truck( 1930's themed Beer truck kiosk), Roger Rabbit's Toon Gifts( Benny the Cab ride exit shop) and Rosie's All American Cafe( 1930's themed 200 seat quick service restaurant) Sunset Blvd successfully increases park capacity and attendance but guests will notice construction walls near Tower of Terror in the part of the park where Rock'n'Roller exists in our reality but in this Alternate reality timeline it will be a 1930's Chicago themed area with yet another E-Ticket attraction Crimestoppers with an original new story not attached to any IP that will amaze guests in 1995. Elsewhere in MGM Studios Backlot Express adds additional seating, The parade adds a new Lion King Float in place of the Aladdin Float and The Backstage walkthrough tour is updated the Park continues to grow and remains successful with now 6 Rides and more on the way as part of the Disney Decade.

Outside the Parks Walt Disney World adds The All Star Sports a 1,100 room Sports themed Valve Resort the first of 3 Valve Resorts coming through the 90's The Sports features a central building with food court, shop, arcade, the lobby, bus station, covered valet area and check in parking the rest of the resort features 10 Room wings divided into 5 areas with a different theme with large thematic props/features, 3 themed pools including the feature pool, play areas, parking lots and jogging trail the sister resorts to follow with the same layout and features. Walt Disney World also adds a Speedway for Race car events and a new 18 hole PGA quality golf course near Fort Wilderness Campground plus Disney Village Marketplace adds Rainforest Café in the Marketplace and Planet Hollywood in Pleasure Island in the same location we know bringing the theme restaurant boom of the 90's to Walt Disney World. Just a couple months into 1994 Disney Announces Disney's America a regional Disney Park themed to American History located in Haymarket Virginia and planned to open in 4 years the Park will feature 7 themed areas based on American History with Attractions to educate and entertain guests about the history of America in a way only Disney can do the park is meet with support from the state of Virginia and the locals of Haymarket but not all people are supportive of the Park in fact a vocal group of Historians and representatives for the state of Virginia in Washington along with people who don't want Disney to build in the location they have chosen near a historic civil war site this would ultimately lead to a uphill battle to bringing this Park to reality and would continue through 1994 delaying the park to 1999 but could get delayed further until they can move forward.

At Disney's MGM Studios the park opens their new themed land Sunset Blvd on July-22nd-1994 with the Red Car Trolley Line a Trolley ride down Sunset Blvd with a station at the Trolley barn and at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Sunset also features The Carthay Circle Theater an indoor show theater replacing Theater of the Stars which was demolished to make way for the entrance to Sunset Blvd the theater houses Snow White's Enchanting Musical a new musical stage show based on the 1936 Classic animated film across the street from the Carthay Circle Theater is the Sunset Blvd Taxi Company building which houses Benny's Wild Hollywood Taxi Tours a dark ride based on Who Framed Roger Rabbit where you join Roger Rabbit and Detective Eddie on a high speed chase through Hollywood from Judge Doom who is chasing them down with the Toon Patrol to arrest Roger Rabbit who has been framed in this ride Eddie and Roger are recruiting us to help them bring Judge Doom to justice but then things go wrong when Judge Doom suddenly appears inside the Taxi Company building immediately the pre-show ends and we are rushed to the Taxi Boarding depot where Benny the Cab is waiting for guests to board each Cab train features 3 2 person Cabs that can be spinned like the tea cups through the 5 minute high speed chase adventure through Hollywood this ride has the same layout as the another Roger Rabbit ride in Disneyland which is different from this ride beyond both this ride and Carthay Circle at the back on Sunset Blvd lies a 199ft dilapidated 1930's Hollywood Hotel rising mysteriously over Sunset blvd inside lies a new type of dropping Thrill ride that is seen dropping from outside within elevator shifts but what is this mysterious attraction. This Attraction is the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror a 1930's Hotel themed where you board a Elevator to the Twilight Zone because in this hotel on a dark stormy night on October 31st 1939 Five people board an Elevator but then lighting strucks the hotel and mysteriously vanish to the Fifth Dimension known as the Twilight Zone this story is explained to us by our Host Rod Sterling in the library pre-show after the pre-show guests exit into the boiler room board their 12 person Elevator Cab to begin their ride to the Twilight Zone this is where you Elevators lift up the first elevator shafts to the famous showcenes we all know where the Five People reappear after this scene the Elevator Cab using AGV technology exits the shaft into the Fifth Dimension scene after this the Elevator approaches Elevator doors and enters into the Drop Shaft where the Elevator rapidly goes up and when it is at top the doors in front of the shaft open up revealing a view of the Park before dropping at a high speed faster than gravity that lifts guests out of their seats before ending the ride where the elevator reaches unloading and guests unload then the Elevator Cab using AGV moves back to loading ready for the next guests who will enter the Twilight Zone at the exit guests can see their picture and then exit through Hollywood Tower Gifts the ride gift shop. The Rest of Sunset Blvd features Shops and Restaurants along with restrooms on the left and right sides of the Street the following shops and restaurants on the right side are Legends of Hollywood, Planet Hollywood Store, Sunset Couture, Beverly Sunset Gifts, Hollywood Ice Cream( Ice Cream kiosk location) and Carthy Circle Lounge( next to the theater) and the Shops and Restaurants on the right side are Tinstletown Fashions, Staring Rolls Bakery, Seven Seas Club( 250 seat 1930's Hollywood themed table service restaurant and bar inspired by the Rocketeer movie), Rocketeer Suppliers, Film Travel Co( Travel gear shop), Sunset Brewers Truck( 1930's themed Beer truck kiosk), Roger Rabbit's Toon Gifts( Benny the Cab ride exit shop) and Rosie's All American Cafe( 1930's themed 200 seat quick service restaurant) Sunset Blvd successfully increases park capacity and attendance but guests will notice construction walls near Tower of Terror in the part of the park where Rock'n'Roller exists in our reality but in this Alternate reality timeline it will be a 1930's Chicago themed area with yet another E-Ticket attraction Crimestoppers with an original new story not attached to any IP that will amaze guests in 1995. Elsewhere in MGM Studios Backlot Express adds additional seating, The parade adds a new Lion King Float in place of the Aladdin Float and The Backstage walkthrough tour is updated the Park continues to grow and remains successful with now 6 Rides and more on the way as part of the Disney Decade.

You're forgotting Baby Herman's Runaway Baby Buggy Ride (dark ride) and Toontown Transit (simulator) as Toon Coaster (roller coaster based on Roller Coaster Rabbit short) as Maroon Studios area too. 1995: It is now 1995 half way through 1990's five years away from 2000 Michael and Frank continue their Disney Decade which has led to record profits across the company including the Parks which has benefited from the multiple successful Animated and Live action movies including The Lion King that has been released and attendance keeps growing at all 6 Parks and 3 Destination resorts around the world and with major expansion plans planned to grow the number of Parks and Experiences offered around the world bringing more magic to guests and fans. Later in 1995 Disney announces Disney Cruise Line the World's first Disney Cruise ship line which will launch in 1998 with 1 Ship plus 2 additional ships 1 in 1999 and 2000 in addition to the Ships the Cruise Line will have a private island for guests and Disney's America is cancelled due to local opposition and vocal opposition regarding it's location and experiences within it and the sold to a different owner but the failure of this park not getting built some of it's Attraction ideas will become reality elsewhere after the cancellation of Disney's America plans for different regional parks are
dreamed up that will get announced in the future.

for guests of all ages unlike another Alien themed attraction that is very intense in Tomorrowland 2055, Space Mountain relaunches with a updated mission featuring on-board audio, projections, special effects and updated trains plus new highly detailed futuristic Sc-fi theming in the queue and exterior but the signature white and blue colors of Space Mountain remain but a futuristic light display show will take place multiple times a night on ride building and a new Futuristic Sc-fi themed gift shop/ Post-Show experience for Space Mountain in the new Tomorrowland 2055 Energy and Space Co Center building the post-show area The Future of Space and Energy hosted by Raytheon the new sponsor of Space Mountain, The Tomorrowland 2055 Indy Speedway a futuristic themed update of the Speedway inspired by a Indy 500 in the future and the final attraction of Tomorrowland 2055 is The Extraterrestrial Alien Encounter housed in the XS Tech Earth Inovation and Teleportation Center guests enter the quene/holding area waiting for the next demonstration tour once guests begin their tour they enter the first pre-show introducing XS Tech a multigalactic company from Mars featuring Mark Hamill as the President of XS Tech who begins our demo introduction everything so far goes good then after the first pre-show you enter the second pre-show for a teleportation demonstration housed by a serious no-sense robot which starts to the reveal the true of the company that becomes clear when cute friendly Alien Skippy is sent into the Teleportation tubeto be subjected to the horrific teleportation experiment demo and reappears with frightening results in another Teleport tube after this guests are taken into 1 of 2 120 person circular theaters with a Teleportation Tube in the center once in the theater guests are seated in XS-Tech demo seats with shoulder restraints and sound system plus water sprayers designed to enhance the senses of the guests during the demonstration immediately after this the restraints come down and the show the President of XS-Tech comes on the screen and 2 XS-Tech supervisors introduce themselves after he appears saying he will teleport to Earth everything seems to be going good but then suddenly something goes terribly wrong the Teleport destination of the CEO ends going to a different planet immediately causing concern by the supervisors who then realize it's not the CEO of XS-Tech instead it's a nasty carnivorous Alien from a different planet then the creature escapes damaging the outer layer of the tube causing the power to go off sending the theater into darkness while the creature has escaped into the theatre causing chaos and horror with sounds and special effects within the seats and around the theater making guests believe the Alien is around and behind them causing guests to scream throughout the show thinking the Alien has escaped after 10 minutes into the show the lights come back on with the Alien back in the Teleportation tube where it explodes during the Teleporation in front of the shows after this Supervisors and the CEO of XS-Tech appear on the screens again in shock from what just happened to the guests on the demonstration tour then the show ends and guests exit out of the theater either into merchant of venus or into Star Traders this attraction is created in collaboration with George Lucas and the first attraction with a Age limit of 12 and up guests under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and before guests enter the theater a Cast member will explain the attraction without spoiling the experience which will hopefully keep the attraction around for years to come in addition to final attractions of the Tomorrowland 2055 project Merchant of Venus, Futuristic Gravity Ice Cream, Galactic Revue Gift Ship and Astromers Club a Futuristic Victorian SC-Fi themed 2 floor 600 seat Table Service Restaurant themed to a Astromer's club with a full diorama of the Solar System and a state of the art projection of space with stars, planets, spacecraft and constellations and the food and drinks will have space and galactic inspired names this will create a new must do dining experience for everyone visiting Magic Kingdom elsewhere in the park Hall of Presidents is updated, The Train receives a new tunnel/showscene called the Tunnel of Tomorrow featuring the technology of the year 2055 and work continues on Mickey's Toontown a similar but larger version of the land from California(1993) and Tokyo(1996) with additional rides, and a different coaster exclusive to Orlando making it is better version of the land overall part of which is beyond the berm which required the addition of a themed bridge for the railroad tracks to create a themed tunnel underneath the same bridge to get to the additional rides this is addition is for the 25th anniversary next year which will see new attractions and additions across the resort. tour they enter the first pre-show introducing XS Tech a multigalactic company from Mars featuring Mark Hamill as the President of XS Tech who begins our demo introduction everything so far goes good then after the first pre-show you enter the second pre-show for a teleportation demonstration housed by a serious no-sense robot which starts to the reveal the true of the company that becomes clear this guests are taken into 1 of 2 120 person circular theaters with a Teleportation Tube in the center once in the theater guests are seated in XS-Tech demo seats with shoulder restraints and sound system plus water sprayers designed to enhance the senses of the guests during the demonstration immediately after this the restraints come down and the show the President of XS-Tech comes on the screen and 2 XS-Tech supervisors introduce themselves after he appears saying he will teleport to Earth everything seems to be going good but then suddenly something goes terribly wrong the Teleport destination of the CEO ends going to a different planet immediately causing concern by the supervisors who then realize it's not the CEO of XS-Tech instead it's a nasty carnivorous Alien from a
