The Adventurers Club - a Photo Tribute

Just as the title says. Please post your photos/memories/etc of the wonderful club that so many of us called 'home.' Please refrain from using AC CM's real names as most of them prefer to remain anonymous.

I'll start (obviously). I discovered the Adv. Club in 2003 when I was a WDWCP CM - I worked at PI and had never set foot inside the cloob before. I was more of a West End Stage/Beach Club girl because I love live music. I got a wild hair and went into the club and fell in 'love' with Blondie as Emil and the rest was history...I purchased a PI annual pass and was there EVERY night for months. When I moved out of Orlando in August of 2004, I missed my club very much.

I only went once when we had the A/C Club meet from these boards in March. Master Yoda organized it and was kind enough to give us a tour. I had a good time but had trouble staying awake and left before the Hoopla!

What exactly is the AC? I'll be there 9/8 - 9/15 and I'm thinking we should go check this out before it shuts down (assuming it's still open). Is it a play? A cabaret show? It looks like fun!

That is a rumor about a rumor yes.... but there will never be another AC after Sept 27th no matter how hard they try! It is not just the walls, but also the people!

The Hoopla.....hoopla I am guessing on that last night will be VERY LONG and not only one of the best, but one of the most sad........

Now I'm KICKING myself for re-booking my vacation. I was originally going to be at The World 9/23-10/3 on the bounce-back free dining offer from last year but I decided to re-book for December to enjoy the holidays down there...now I'm sad I could've been there the last week it was open...

Okay, I WILL be there the last week it is open. I haven't been in 10-12 years. My parents took me there when I was pretty young. Now I need to get in there before it is gone for good...
