As we finish the 2023 Imagineering year, culminating with the completion of @Dark PerGron's Manor of Mysteries, it's time to celebrate the year of Imagineering on the forum with the annual Imagineering Awards!

For the 2023 Imagineering Awards, the following categories will be available for nominations:

From now, until February 29, nominate your choices for who you think should win each category. I will add to the next post some major threads and competitions through the year to make for easy searching, but of course add nominations from anything I miss to link.

Once we hit March 1, I will open the survey to vote on every category with the nominations! Thanks, and welcome to the awards!

Best Imagineer: All of you!!!
But if I have to choose one for this year, @AceAstro gets my vote!

Best game: SYWTBAI 20

Best team: The merged team in SYWTBAI 20

Best competition prompt: I’m a little biased here, but I’m going with Project 003 from What If, simply because of the incredible quality of projects that prompt yielded. Special shoutout to Team Cassie for Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Kingdom. They scored a perfect 25/25 for that round.

Best project from a competition: NickToon Landing was absolutely peak imagineering and one of the most fun projects I have ever been part of. I recall how much we all forgot about “the game” for a while and just poured our hearts into the project. So much fun!!

And I don’t know that there is a category for this or not but I want to give massive recognition to @PerGron for the story line and world building in Manor of Mysteries. That was clearly a labor of love!
