Best New Imagineer

@Amidala

Joining the forum over the summer, Amidala contributed by making many Open Brainstorming Threads to create new replacements for E-ticket rides. With OPen Brainstormings usually being a full park, focusing on one ride was a nice change.

@AceAstro

Coming onto the competitive stage in The Great Movie Ride Competition over this past summer, Ace made a name for himself quickly in the community, being an integral part of Team Marvel Studios, and going on to play in both A Twist in Time 2 and Must-Redo Disney. On the brainstorming front, he is very active and supportive of other new members as well, ultimately being one of the main authors of the weekly Imagineering Newsletter.

(Thanks to @spacemt354 for this summary)

@QuillPenn

QuillPenn entered the scene with two very successful Open Brainstorming Threads. From there, QuillPenn joined The Great Movie Ride Competition being a part of Team Marvel. From there, QuillPenn was also one of the main competitors in the Twist of Time 2 competition and always would give input into Open Brainstorming threads.

Best Imagineer in a Strategy Competition

@D Hindley

In a short amount of time, D Hindley creates beautiful artwork (such as Dream Mountain), as well as the immersive story to go along with the work. In a week’s time, he can go from a prompt to a beautifully sketched out and describe ride/ land/ park /etc.

@CraniumCommand89

Nominated for their work in SYWTBAI 14, CraniumCommand89 didn’t get drafted by one of the two hosts so made sure they would regret that decision. While not making it all the way, some incredible projects were created.

@Basketbuddy101

Staying with SYWTBAI 14, BasketBuddy101 took home all the glory with winning the season. BasketBuddy101 created beautiful art and stories to excel him all the way to victory.

@FigmentPigments

Not only was FignmentPigments excelling at one competition over the summer with The Great Movie ride, they were also excelling with the Theme Park Apprentice. Playing in two big competitions like that at one time is no easy feat!

Best Open Brainstorming Thread

Making it Work

Magic Feather created an Open Brainstorming Thread where we look at different areas of Disney parks that aren’t ideal. Magic Feather will give a new prompt ever so often and from that, we discuss different ideas that we feel could work.

Club 32

Spacemt354 created this project earlier this year and through that, many different projects were created. Most notably, the Disneyland Sydney Resort was created in Club 32.

Universal Sydney

As the replacement for SYWTBAI season 15, Universal Sydney became a forum wide Open Brainstorming Thread. Members worked together to create a massive two park complex to give Universal a resort in Sydney Australia.

Best Competition Team

Marvel Studios for the Great Movie Ride Competition

Being the eventual winners of the competition, Team Marvel consisted of a couple of new members and competition veterans. The combination of that led to some beautiful projects all the way to the finish line.

Team Baby Groot for the Creator Games 2

From projects like the Princess and The Frog Dark Ride, Team Baby Groot made projects that would be surefire successes in real life. It’s unfortunate these games ended early as I am sure there would’ve been even more great projects that came out of this.

Pixar Studios for the Great Movie Ride Competition

Pixar Studios created beautiful projects throughout the competition including the beautiful Dream Mountain that can be found in this thread.
