Huh, you haven't done Disneyland? I could have sworn you had been to both!

Dollywood is definitely BIGGER than SDC and has grown faster, but I'd say SDC has done a better job of staying true to its roots. They're doing a TON of massive infrastructure work this year-hopefully their Dollywood-esque phase of growth will commence shortly.

No, I haven't been to Disneyland, but would love to go some day. It seems they did the orginal attractions much better than WDW, per others who have been to Disneyland. It sounds like a wonderful place to see the original Walt Disney attractions.

My husband lived in San Jose when he was a child and went to DL once, so he has a childs view of DL and of course, loved it

Hard to list 15. Many are usual suspects. I will say Kennywood in Pittsburgh is just so nice and well done. And Storybook Land( I think that's the name) near north Conway in New Hampshire, it's really great for 12 and under but enough to do for older kids and adults to enjoy.
