Thanksgiving Weekend Potter Update

So today, IOA had to extend their park hours from 8 pm to 9pm because of how busy it was. Also, to all those planning to visit IOA this weekend for Thanksgiving, please note that they are now controlling entry into the Wizarding World. You must get a ticket first (not sure where) and then there is a line that forms in front of the Discovery Center (on the lagoon side). Today it was reported that the line stretched all the way to Thunder Falls. It was an hour wait just to GET IN to the Island.

So, plan accordingly, and good luck!

Hours are extended to 10pm now on Friday and Saturday as well, still only in IOA. Do you think it'd work like after the first few weeks of opening, wherein if you visited WWoHP after 2 or 3 there usually wasn't an entry wait?

No, I would expect lines all day for everything. Including to get into each shop.

Nothing to see here folks. It'll be easy to get into WWoHP again by next week.

I was there for Thanksgiving week....the only "Island" that was insane was Potter....everything else was empty....we rode most rides twice in a row.
To get into the shops in Potter....you had to wait an hour.
