Hi all,
Quick question...We are thinking of going to WDW for a long weekend in Nov. Thinking Thursday the 18th till Sunday the 21st. Thanksgiving is the 25th, so that following week. Now I know Thanksgiving in itself is a busy day but do you know if the week that we are thinking about is very busy too? Should we go the week before or after instead? Plus, is it still warm in November?
The only time I went somewhat late in the year was Halloween last year and I still thought it was pretty warm.

Thanks in advance for the help

Hey there and welcome!!! The week you are looking at should not bbe busy at all actually so it might be a nice time. The week after Thanksgiving has several positives to it as well including the fact that the whole resort ( parks, hotels etc) will be all done up for the holidays!!! Christmas trees, garland etc. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom is available as well as the Candlelight processional in EPCOT. The EPCOT Tree lighting is pretty amazing as well. I Am a big fan of Christmas time at Disney. IMHO, there is nothing like it and it should be experienced at least once!!! Plus this year we are having a WDWMagic Meet on December 4th!!! What more incentive would one need???  It can be warm, but I have had extremes on both sides. I went in November one year and froze. A few years later I went in December and was in the pool because it was just that warm out!!! It really does all depend. Usually it isnt too bad though. Any other questions, post and I will try to answer!!! Belle

Thanks for all the info!! I didn't think the Christmas decorations would up in November and the Christmas party. That's an even better reason to go!!

Thanks :)

I completely agree with going the 1st or 2nd week after Thanksgiving. The holiday decorations at the parks and resorts are really nice and park attendance is very low.

Weather wise, is hit or miss. It may be quite warm or it may be quite cool. The only problem with going that time of year, in my opinion, is having to pack clothing for all temperature ranges.
