Hello
When I went to Disney in 2003 we enjoyed a wonderful thanksgiving meal at the Swan and Dolphin.:slurp: We are returning the same week(21-28)this year and were wondering if there has been any announcement for this year? I looked online and only found meals from 2008.

i do not know the answer to your question but we will be there from Nov. 21 - 30. We have a villa @ SSRso I am actually going to cook for my family.

We we origianlly were 2 depart on the 28th, but decided to stay 2 more days hoping to get the X-mas feel from the decorations.

Each there own, but it is a very nice laid back resort. The only draw back is that the resort buildings are seperate from the guest house. So getting around takes some walking. But we did not mind it we took a nice stroll in the eveing around the resort, but if not careful you can get lost.

My kids enjoyed the main pool and the arcade also, me sat by the pool near the bar and had a few drinks.:animwink:

SSR and Thanksgiving

SSR is nice, there really isn't a bad DVC resort, just some that others like better. It is our home resort but have only stayed there once, 1 bedroom, it is spread out, but still Disney and interesting Saratoga themes. I live next to Saratoga NY and the streets are named the same at SSR. We liked the quiet pool with the cement dolphins that spit water into the pool.. The lights and view of DTD(Downtown Dis) are great. The store with things Saratoga was neat, from the peppermint pigs and saratoga water(all from the real Saratoga) We could relate. I really like the Boardwalk resorts.
We are going for the first time during Thanksgiving, 22-28, went in 07 the week before for a few days(20th anniversary) and conference. Weather was very nice, not hot but not exactly cold. We are staying at BCV first half and AKV second half, planning a Boma Thanksgiving feast. Looking forward to it, as you can tell as I am surfing the sites and forums, making the plans.:sohappy:
