Thanksgiving info

Can anyone tell me about crowds at the parks Thanksgiving Day and the weekend after? We will be there Thursday through Sunday this coming Thanksgiving and are planning to spend a day at each major park, maybe one and one-half days at Magic Kingdom. For instance, is Magic Kingdom very busy on the Saturday after Thanksgiving like most Saturdays, or would the Friday after Thanksgiving be busier since it's the Thanksgiving holiday weekend? Any info and tips would be especially appreciated!

I really like WDW, but even with free admission I would not go there during your proposed time. The entire 2003 Thanksgiving weekend (27, 28, 29, 30) will be wall to wall with visitors. The next weekend will be dead as a doornail.

Thanks for the info, but I am planning to go when the kids are out of school and thought Thanksgiving weekend would be better than summer. Even if the crowds are the same at least the weather will be cooler.

We've done Thanksiving a few times. It is more crowded than the following week but very manageable if you use Fastpass aggressively. I would avoid MK on Thanksgiving day. Using the Extra Magic Hour, particularly for Fantasyland, and then switching parks is usually worth it at this time of year.
