I enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern in the Mk for dinner..and it's a more traditional thanksgiving meal buffet. I also Love Hollywood and Vine at DHS for dnner - the Fantasmic meal deal is here. Also Ohana's at the Polynesian resort - try to get a window seat..you can see the pool, lagoon, lake, and the castle.

You have a more traditional Thanksgiving theme than Liberty Tree!! Just checked and there is no ressies...keep checking back, something will open up. Diamond Horseshoe usually announces dinner for Thanksgiving (announcement comes in Sept/Oct)...it is the same food and wait staff from Liberty, just in the seldom used adjacent building. At both Liberty and Diamond, the food is decent and is brought to your table in platters, with unlimited re-fills. Again, if you are interested, keep checking back!

SOLUTION FOUND! Trains End is it! We are doing lunch buffet - same food - cheaper!

After that we will be head to MK grab a bus and head over to Epcot area to play some mini golf - then back to resort for a nice relaxing day at the Wilderness Lodge!

Thanks y'all!

I had Thanksgiving dinner at Whispering Canyon last year and it was great. I had thought about Trail's End too, so I would be curious to know how you like it.

We will be dining at LTT on thanksgiving. It was going to eitherbe there or Garden Grill. :)

OP:trails End will be great. Some RV peeps may have their sites decorated by then for Christmas, so take a a stroll and check it out!

We've got a reservation at Tony's on Thanksgiving as it was only option left for a restaurant inside MK. However, there seems to be no mention anywhere of whether Tony's will be offering a Thanksgiving meal this year? As on AllEars it mentions that they offered it last year. Coming from England, a Thanksgiving meal is something we really wanted to try.

I'v dined at Chef Mickey's in the Contempory at christmas, it was a nice buffet- but we were mostly there to dine with the characters.Very loud - but Fun. I also enjoyed Boma's, but we mostly dined there for the desserts.LOL.

yes and no. Fort Wilderness is very large. The campsites are on loops 100-2000. There are a handful of campsites I would say are within walking distance of Trails End, depending on your definition. But you may want to ride on of the busses on the internal bus system to campsites that are further away, walk around a bit, and then catch another bus back.

How will you be arriving at Ft. Wilderness? Disney bus? boat? Your own car?

Boat but our dinner is early - it is something to think about later that night. Parks will be way too crowded to go to that day. We will be there for 6 1/2 days (maybe 7 depending on the airfare) and only going to parks for 4 days forcing us to enjoy the resorts and relax....thanks for the info~
