Where do you eat thanksgiving dinner? Last year we ate lunch at Yak and Yeti then ate a turkey quick meal back at our food court.

We eat it at home.
However, if you're at WDW and you want a traditional Thanksgiving style menu (with turkey, stuffing, etc.), I'd recommend Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom!

We love to spend Thanksgiving at Disney. Our favorite place to eat for Thanksgiving dinner is 50s Prime Time. They offer a turkey special that night or you can get anything from the regular menu. Afterwards we will stroll around the Osborne Lights. It is the perfect way to kick off our holiday season. I would also recommend Captain's Grille; they have a great turkey buffet. Just make sure to make ressies around the 180 day mark because places fill up fast! One year, we decided about two months before Thanksgiving to go and we couldn't get a decent sit down restaurant. We ended up eating burgers and chicken fingers at the American Adventure's QS.

We are there for Thanksgiving quite often, and have eaten at many restaurants around property. Many of them do a special Thanksgiving menu. Last year, we tried Thanksgiving at The Wave- and I can't say enough how amazing it was!! It was easily one of the best meals I've had at WDW; definitely in the top 5. We loved it so much, we're eating Thanksgiving there again this year. We had eaten there before a few times (non-holiday) and really enjoyed it, but this was beyond their normal menu and absolutely delicious.

I'm pretty sure every WDW restaurant will offer a traditional Thanksgiving menu that day, along with their usual offerings. I'm not saying don't eat at LTT - it's probably the most Thanksgiving-y themed place to eat in the World. But honestly, I'll bet any place that can cook a turkey, will offer a turkey dinner that day. It's a busy weekend at the World, every place is packed and I'm sure most people will want turkey.
Honestly, I'd suggest some places that usually don't get fully booked - The Wave at the Contemporary, Turf Club at Saratoga. I'm sure they would get "sold out" that day, if any, but there's half a chance they won't be too terribly crowded or too terribly rushed, because everyone is waiting at LTT or Garden Grill or 50s, thinking "but turkey's on their menu!"

Actually, not every restaurant offers a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving. Only certain restaurants will add it. We didn't know that and one year we ate at Sci Fi for Thanksgiving dinner. It was the regular menu with no turkey special. My DH was very disappointed. Allears.net usually has a list of those restaurants that will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It might even be on this site; I just didn't search for it before typing this response.

I mentioned earlier that I LOVED The Wave for our holiday meal- but I do want to add that even the often overlooked restaurants get booked. About a month out last year, we had a few more members become available to join us. I tried to get them in anywhere and everywhere, any possible time for dinner. The only two options they had were Shutters and Bongos. I tried parties of 2 and 4, and there simply wasn't anything available at a month before Thanksgiving. The Wave was definitely filled to capacity, but we didn't feel rushed or crowded. The service and the food were outstanding!

The one year we were there for Thanksgiving when I was in high school, we had dining reservations for San Angel Inn. Except that we didn't...the parents each thought the other was making the reservations! So we got tacos and churros from Cantina! One of my most memorable Thanksgiving dinners!
So far it looks like we will eat Thanksgiving dinner together at PC food court.

We don't worry about trying to find a traditional Thanksgiving meal when we're at disney over the holidays. None are as good as what we can do at home so we figure if we want traditional we'll stay at home, if we're at disney we book a signature venue and have a nice meal together.

Same here, the only tradition we get out of it is going to ESPN Club and watching football while eating.

We ate at Artist Point a few years ago. Atmosphere and food were both excellent. It was warm enough for us to sit outside overlooking the lake and geyser. A real treat for us being from the often frozen and snow covered north! No better time of year down there than thanksgiving.

Liberty Tree on Thanksgiving day was awesome!!! For sure something we will be doing again!
We just like to eat turkey not necessary a whole dinner but a big spread wouldn't hurt.
