Thanks to cast members for help with elderly parents

My mother and step-father just got back from a week long trip to WDW, and she had great cast members stories to tell. Normally I go to help my mother, but not this time.
When I made reservations at POFQ, I req. a room on the ground floor near the food court and bus stop, and let it be known that they were elderly and would be using ECV's. A week before the trip, I called and stressed this again. After flying into Sanford airport, my brother drove them to their hotel and helped them check in. They were then driven to their room along with their luggage. The room was exactly as requested and less than 50 feet from the food court, in building 5. Everynight they left their ECV's at the baggage area and cast members there would charge the batteries and have them ready for them the next day. My mother said every employee they had contact with couldn't have been nicer to them, asking if they needed anything, etc..

She is very nervous about driving the ECV on and off the buses, and a few times drivers would load and unload it for her. I know this is not standard practice, but it was really appreciated.

Finally on their last day there, they were to go to the Contemporary for an early Chef Mickey's breakfast. Not knowing they could take a bus directly to the hotel, they left their ECV's at their hotel, and took the bus to the MK. After disembarking, they asked a CM where the walkway was to the hotel, and he pointed it out. They had not gone far, (he uses a cane, and she has alot of troubling walking any pace at all), when a lady driving one of the small vehicles used in groundskeeping, stopped and asked where they were headed. She told them to stay where they were and radioed for help. She stayed and talked to them when a van pulled up, a CM got out and loaded them into the van and drove them to the Contemporary. Wow!!!

The CM's truly made this a magical trip for them. Thank You!!!
