And sometimes it just stops because the safety interlocks are triggered due to the saftey program and it takes a while for them to be reset

It is always closed when it is rainy, but other than that its other breakdowns are usually short, although pretty often. During a week long trip like we take, we would usually only see it closed (not due to rain) once. It, of course, happens more, but most of us go to the other three parks as well:)

The question was, Does Test Track breakdown a lot? The answer is, it depends. Sorry, but thats about all I can say. Most of the time, yes, and most of the time, no. You have to catch it on its good days, thats why I replied, it depends. This comes from a very reliable source.......... ;-)

I agree; the very nature of the ride demands lots of safety precautions and Disney will be safe rather than sorry every single day of the week.

In other words, yes; it's down a lot.

If you go to Test Track once or twice in a years span, and it is down, yes, you can say it breaks down a lot. But if you are their on a constant basis and know what is actually going on, then you can say that it is not down a whole lot.

The only other ride that I can think of that is down as much as this is Spiderman, so in comparison to all the other rides at WDW, yes Test Track is down a lot

If you qutoe it in that sense, then yes, test track is down a whole lot compared with other rides at WDW. But the Track is WAY better than it used to be. Plus you have to configure that this is still a fairly new attraction and these kinds of things have to happen with something that is new. IF on average about a year ago it went went down, i mean totally shut down, maybe once or twice a month. But now, you may find that it is only about once or twice every two months. That is a very big improvement

Hey!
Um.... yes it does, well at least when I am there it does! One time I was on it when it broke down, and the people in my car were all mexican and they only spoke spanish. I was kinda gettin worried but it was a fun experience. They were like, " Como Esta'" and Im like " so-so y terrible". They laughed. I only know a little spanish for being 15. It helps to be in school. lol

Hey Kenan, whats up (Door 4, lol)?

Kenan is absolutely right you guys. "Depends" is the best answer to give. The track has its good days and bad days. Just because your in line and you hear;

"Ladies and Gentlemen, vehicle testing at this facility has been suspended. We do apologize, for this has increased your wait time. Our vehicle inspection team is currently on sight and we hope to resume our normal operation shortly. We thank you for your patience while we experience this delay"

This in no way means the attraction is down. There are hundereds of reasons that this is said. It only means that there is a delay. The only time Test Track is down is if you are asked to "Please turn around and exit the building, Thank you, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause:)" And honestly this does not happen as often as you may think. But again, just like all the other major e-ticket attractions Disney has, the track does have its good days and bad days. Believe me, as Kenan said, this does come from very reliable sources;)

Oh, and cymbaldiva.

Trust me, you never have to worry about being hit by another car going 65mph. The track is one of the safest attractions at WDW.
