Okay so i was watching Test Track on youtube and i noticed when it reaches the outside part is it really going 60+ miles per hour? Or does it show that for fun?
I bet he never drives over the speed limit too. He seems like a goody goody.Yes it really goes that fast. It was going to go quicker, but Eisner decided it would not be good to show cars going quicker than the typical highway speed limit of the time.
Isn't the speed display just a static display in that it is preprogrammed to do what it does and is not actually reading the speed of the ride vehicle? The number reaches 67.

The number reaches 67.
According to Disneybythenumbers.com it reaches 65 mph.
Some other interesting ride info here: http://www.disneybythenumbers.com/wdw/futureworld.html
Thanks for the info!!!
Oh, super nerd time. Do I REALLY have to take my GPS with me next time and compare my speed to what the display says.
I don't know, that may be a bit much.
Honestly, it may not be enough time to re-establish a sat lock in the time on the outdoor loop. You are moving as soon as you leave the building. That does not help.
