Test Track Secrets

Imagineers found the cars could go well over 100MPH. They were doing a 'what if' scenario to see what would happen if 1 or 2 of the sensor on the cars went out. They found out when the car never slowed down a crashed into the load/unload station causing a multi-million dollar meltdown.

There are suppose to be 32 cars, but the one the crashed was never replaced as they thought it might be bad luck. Also there is no Car 1, didn't want guest waiting to ride the 1st car.

Each color of car is a different generation, with the lastest generation being the fastest. (I will look up the colors)

The speed display during the outside part of the ride is 'static' and does not show the true speed of the cars.

The cars un faster on newer tires, just like a race car.

Each car has more computing power than the Space Shuttle

Let's see here....

-Wrong
-Wrong... Car 1 isn't used, but for no reason just other than it isn't used... You can find it in the merchandise shop, though.
-Wrong
-Right... it's just a prop.
-Wrong
-Right

Just thought I'd help point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the clarification, I will let my engineer friend know he is wrong.

Don't play with fire...you might get burned...if I were you, I would attack something simple, like the Magic Kingom Watercraft fleet

Yes fire can burn, but can you prove 100% that the statments are wrong?

Where you an Imagineer on the project during the 2 years of testing?

We get a lot of people around these parts claiming that they know imagineers or in rare instances actualy "are" imagineers.

Since i personally know that MicBat actually worked TT for over 6 months, i'm going with his information. Ive got some friends who were on opening crew so i could probably find out if i wanted to goto the effort, but .... Why? I'll go with the info that seems solid until proved otherwise....

You have repeatedly blamed a "friend" for blatant misinformation you have posted in this thread and others. You need to take responsibility for what you post and not shift the blame.

I heard that MK Watercraft are also on tracks...

Only round Rivers of America. Which is it now - the Fowler of the Irvine?? I get so confused since the drydock `accident` and subsequent renaming on ROA and 7SL.

First of all, it was a joke, No watercraft are on tracks outside of the MK...as for this dry dock incident you speak of...I have never heard of such an event. As for this renaming you speak of...maybe there are some things you should not be posting on a board such as this.

Whaaat??

ArchiDanDisney, did I offend you? The dry dock incident is well known, has been discussed along with the renaming many times at WDWMagic, and documented like this (towards the bottom) and the following page has the renaming list. Comon knowledge - why should I not be posting this?

PS I know it was a joke.

It would be nice to see all these mature adults online get along and niceley correct each other rather than wiseley giving your opinion or facts and continuing to brag about your friends or your past. Perhaps the person doing so is correct but it would cause a lot less of an issue if noted in a much nicer way. After all we are talking about the "happiest place on earth" lets make our discussion boards just as happy!

Have A Magical Day!

I didn't mean to come off as rude. I apologize if I did.
