Yep. My car was one that my dad saw in 2001 in the post show and is now MINE:D. We looked at the GMC Envoy for my mom in 2004, but ended up going with the very similar Oldsmobile Bravada (aka my next car).

I have been looking for options since about 2004. The only thing similar is the Ford Windstar and the components are not any better. When it comes to better models, I bought top of the line already so there is no where to go but down.

I have been dealing with the basic break pads and the ceramics so far and I think I am going to go with metallic on the next round. I have found a few metallics that rate pretty good when it comes to noise and dust and I have also found a source for drilled and slotted rotors that are one $20 a set more that standard rotors. Thankfully, ding brakes on this thing is pretty easy. I have the whole process to under an hour now.

buy a new van? if your anything like the spirit you can buy three new vans.

I'm a big sports car guy, but I went from a '10 Evolution to a '11 Lexus hybrid and although I'm saving hundreds on gas it isn't near the fun. I'm really hoping that Buick will fulfill the rumor of the upcoming 2015 Grand National. It was my dream car in the 80s and still is in a lot of ways.

The evo is a beast....and so underrated due to sales numbers and misunderstanding...did you get the ct300? Or one of the newer sedan hybrids? The new FRS is also living up to the hype. Sales are through the roof and it is wildly fun without breaking the bank or the gas pump. (Granted it asks for 91 octane) it is like a miata on steroids...with

With the new for 2014 Twin turbo 3.6 in Cadillac's lineup (V-Sport) for the CTS and XTS (AWD), perhaps Buick may get a version of this engine too. The TT 3.6 will deliver 420 hp and should be a 'monster'; a new Grand National might be a hit (just have to wait and see if/when GM offers this engine to other divisions).

I used to get off of TT and loooove sitting in the Cadillac CTS models they had out. I wanted that car very badly, and in August '05 I got one. I wound up selling it less than a year later, though, because I was a big guy at the time and felt very cramped inside. :( It was a great car.

Sadly I am not like the spirit. I will be driving this sucker until the wheels come off. I have gotten use to not having a car payment and a few hundred on brakes every 2 years is a much easier cross to bear.

sidenote....are you involved with the Walt Disney company directly? and or were you ever?

Directly no. I worked as a Disney specific travel agent for 3 years and did the rood truss engineering for the expansion at Castaway Cay. Outside of that, I am just a fan.

No, I checked but my Disney rewards card was just a few thousand dollars short to make the purchase... but I did consider picking up a Segway a few years ago after doing an EPCOT Segway try out. ;)
