Somehow you did the exact same thing Doug pointed out in the other thread you started. If you go back and click on "edit" you should be able to see the coding you had and edit out the extra. How that extra got there is a mystery to me.

Thanks for that, poor Doug has also been incredibly helpful and patient too. I seem to have a jinx on computers, I was born too soon!!

No worries! There are lots of patient folk around here.

I'm 50, but have been using computers for half my life...

You'll get it.

Unfortunately I'm even older than you. I've only been using computers for 2 or 3 years but I'm trying hard (some would say very trying!) Maybe I should just keep my pictures to myself :veryconfu

The test post for Unkadug!

There it is again!Too many IMG tags and an unneeded "http://forums.wdwmagic.com/"

It should look exactly like this:
[noparse]
testtrack1.jpg
[/noparse]

No extra IMG tags and no "forums" whatever.

Basically you want to surround your link with an opening IMG tag and a closing IMG tag. The opening IMG tag is [noparse]
noparse] and a closing IMG tag is [noparse]
[/noparse]. You don't want ANYTHING else included in between those tags as the page will not know how to handle the excess information.

Nah...it's just a learning curve we all must adapt to!

Thanks Monty, perhaps together we can help this lady out.

Where are you copying the URL information from?

From Photobucket. I clicked on properties after I tried to post it and the WDW forums bit was in the address, how strange...

Do me favor..copy the URL minus the IMG tags from my post...open up a new window or tab or whatever you are using...paste it in the address bar..

Right click it and copy the properties again...

Come back here and first paste whatever you have copied into a reply... then click the Mountain and delete the extra http:// and paste it into the popup window.

Click Submit Reply.

I often say that I was born in the computer illiterate age. But that only seems to apply to me.

Oh and I have to get my daughter to post my pictures.

Anyway you couldn't have gotten help from two finer people than unkadug and montymon.

Its heart warming how kind and helpful most of the people who frequent these boards are - they more than make up for the occasional odd bod

My daughter used to help me on the computer but has given me up as a hopeless case, and I don't blame her! Thank goodness for my Magic friends :king: :king:
