Terminator 2:3D Refurbishment?

Visited this attraction over the weekend. Sat in the center of the auditorium. One thing with the audio seemed different to me; the on-screen dialogue volume was VERY low, particularly in comparison to the rest of the audio (machines, music, effects, etc.). At times it was difficult to hear what the actors in the film were saying. I seem to recall the dialogue being louder and more evenly-mixed into the overall audio.

Everything else worked perfectly and sounded great. The main screen is showing some wear in the rectangular areas where the "portal" areas open and close, perhaps from the first screen repeatedly rubbing or contacting the second screen (the wear appears to be vertical and door-shaped). And I noticed that the script changed from when the T-1000 used to choke/throw Kimberly, and now she just freaks out and leaves stage left (house right). This may have been changed a long time ago, but I don't remember seeing this staging modification before.

Allegedly this occurs when the fall pad isn't ready for Kimberly. I guess they've been waiting on a replacement for some time.

That makes sense. I assumed that maybe that show was re-blocked to eliminate the "man grabs woman by the throat" element in light of how sensitive society has become as of late... But that moment always got a good laugh and sometimes applause from the audience with the original show script (when Kimberly was much more overtly annoying). In the recent show, Kimberly was kinda annoying, but not even a fraction of her character when the attraction first opened. I'm not sure if there is a wide range in "annoying" between the different Kimberlys in the current show setup, or if the show was tweaked to reduce her level of annoyance across the board.

I did notice that the 6 targets (shot by the synthetic soldiers) did not "shake" like they used to while being hit - this weekend they just displayed bullet hole damage.

Question: I also noticed that of the 6 soldiers, only the 2 closest to the stage (one on each side) had flames coming out of their guns while they were firing. Was this always the case? I thought that all 6 soldiers had this effect, but my memory could be completely wrong on that.

I don't recall ever seeing a brunette Kimberly at USF. There may have been one here and there, but I usually associate my memory of her as being blonde.
