Teppan Edo?

Yes its Hibachi.

i thought it was good, but its really not that much different that the usual hibachi places we go to back home so I dont know if its a must do on our dining schedule.

Hi, Yes it's Hibachi. We enjoyed it quite a bit. One thing we noticed compared to the previous restaurant was that they only provide white rice. Pretty much all the other places I have been, the first thing they do is fry some rice for the people that would like some. We like it either way so no bigs. What else was funny was everyone there introduced them selves, "Hi I am so and so from some place Japan" then our cook shows up and says " Hi I'm Tomo from Jacksonville FL"

I was reading reviews on Teppan Edo, and I am just a little confused about it - is it a hibachi place?

Teppan is Japanese for iron griddle, commonly called a hibachi table here in the US. We have a Japanese steakhouse in our community so we have chosen not to eat there and try some of the other cuisines we don't have access to. Everyone that I know has loved the place though, including my brother and his family.

Fizbain32, the last time we ate at the place close to home all of the chefs were Mexican.

You must try out Teppan Edo, it is always a must for us to eat at whenever we are there. You also can start off with sushi as well and some sake, whats better than that.
