Anyone out there eaten at Teppan Edo since they have reopened? It was one of our favorite places to eat before the remodel, but I have not read to many positive comments lately...:veryconfu

We ate there a couple of weeks ago and we love it. We've been there twice since the refurb and it's been consitantly great each time. The food didn't really change much, if at all, just the decor.

Glad to hear that. We'll be eating there in the fall and for all the trips I've taken, I don't think I've ever eaten there. Looking forward to it....

My family and I really enjoyed 2 weeks ago. Only my DH likes fried rice so that was no loss. I like white rice better. DS loved the show, and ate all of his chicken and noodles, all of my noodles and some of my steak. The only thing that dissapointed me little is there wasn't much of show when my food was cooking, which was done before everyone else because of a mushroom allergy. The chef did a wonderful show when he cooked everybody elses food with the mushrooms though.

Prices higher (as with all the restaurants before the refurb, nice elegant touches. As was said, you can get more show for a better price outside, but with all of that, it is an enjoyable dinner. Good to be there for the lunch or dinner "opening ceremonies".

Prefer the local chain Kobe Japanese Steakhouse over Teppan Edo. There's one in Crossroads and on I-Drive.

Toyko Dining is interesting though. Sushi rocks. Get the Volcano!

We went in December and really enjoyed it! First time we had Japanese food, so everything was new and exciting. The scallops were great, my DH has steak and he loved it! Our cook was fantastic! The waitresses very attentive. The only thing we ask for was my DS doesn't do veggies and I just wanted his chicken without the veggies but they mixed them in. I guess the waitress either didn't tell the cook or the cook forgot. Whatever, we still had a great time! As far as price, cost the same as any other good meal in Disney!
