we have been to Disney world end of March, May and early June. We will be going the end of August/ beginning September this time. How is the weather? Is it about the same as early June?

High humidity and daily thunderstorms are more typical then compared to August. Temperature is somewhat similar.

I will be visiting Dec 10th-17th. What are the temps that time of year?

Nice... heh... it's usually in the low 70's but this is when the cold fronts come through and the temps can change drastically one day to the next. Last year we had temps in the 90's followed by drops to the 60's... Also the fronts bring strong to severe thunderstorms.

I'm not saying worry about it... I'm just saying don't underestimate the power of these fronts. Also if it gets windy, it will feel colder than it is so walking around World Showcase may sound great if it's in the 60's (and it is) but if it's windy just prepare for it.

That time of year is nice but variable. Weve gone to the parks in the morning in shorts and t shirt and then had to wear jeans and sweatshirt in the late afternoon & evening. The CM's will be sometimes be wearing winter coats & gloves. The resort pools are kind of chilly but the hot tubs feel great in the evenings.

Thanks. I knew it would be hot and rainy I was just hoping not to much warmer then June

I found it a lot more oppressive than June only because of the increased humidity.

Be prepared for weird weather. I was there in early July this year and it would start sunny in the mornings. Then, around 2/4 o'clock-ish, a torrential downpour would happen for a few hours and then the sun would come back out for the rest of the day. As long as you set your expectations that it most likely will rain and the heat/humidity will be crazy, you'll be fine.
