Adobe is your best bet.. I have 4.0.. If you dont have the program.. Then it will cost you 600$ Im saving up 158.00$ for the PS 6.0 update.. )

Coronado, check some of the discount software sites for older versions of Adobe Photoshop. I've been trying to learn Photoshop 5.5, which is the current version I own. I've thought about doing an upgrade, but then I realize I'm barely learning the power of what I have. Something that I have read about is Adobe Photoshop Elements. It goes for about $99, a few less than $600 for the most recent Photoshop. From what I've read, Elements has many of the features that Photoshop does. You may want to check www.adobe.com to see if they have a demo download or something similar.

Also, you may want to do a search on the forum, I can't remember where, but I remember someone mentioning a free downlown of a graphics program that was supposed to be good...mmmm I think it was NowInc? I'm not sure.
