Tell me what you think...pixie dust in rooms

Or maybe you could just sprinkle it on a table, surrounding a note from Tink, that way, the mess can be swept into the garbage later, instead of having to be vacuumed up from a carpet

This is what I was thinking as well. A little note with pixie dust will do the trick and your 5 year old will be talking about it all day. :D It was a great idea, tho.

Have fun!!!!

I work in a craft store too  and this time of year :xmas: is the best (or worst) for glitter, because it seems like every holiday item that we carry is covered in glitter, esp. picks and flowers!
Gotta love vacuuming it up at the end of the night!

But I don't understand how you can ruin shoes with glitter? I come home covered in it, but it's never ruined my clothes.

I have the dis-pleasure of sweeping the store on the nights I close. The glitter gets all over my shoes and doesn't come off. I don't find the glitter cute...I'd rather my shoes stay black. ;)

One pair got really bad. It was just after all the snow from a storm had melted, the parking lot was wet and covered with sand. I went out, got the shopping carts, came back in and swept and my shoes were finished. I washed them in a washing machine and the glitter didn't budge. The combo of my shoes being wet, the sand and the glitter sticking was nasty.

And yes...Christmas is the worst for glitter!!! :brick:

Granted you may need to bend over and pick a couple peices out of the carpet I don't think it's a big deal. :)
As a matter of fact, you SHOULD physically pick up any pieces on the carpet.

As has been said many times before, glitter and confetti are a clean-up nightmare.

Oh--and plan on leaving a big tip (at least $20) for mousekeeping.
