Tell me about WDW at Easter

What are the crowds like? is my biggest concern. We usually go later in the Spring but for Easter 2009 I don't want to be at home and am debating between a cruise and Disney. I'm afraid at Disney it will be nuts. Yes? or no?

Yes, yes, yes!
Easter and Christmas week are the two busiest weeks of the year. And on years when Easter and spring breaks align...it is even crazier.

With that said, we have been at Disney for the last two Easters due to other timing requirements and you can make it work. You need to be at a park first thing to have any normalcy for a few hours, and make all ADR's ASAP. I avoid evening EMH as they don't reduce the crowds until at least 1AM.
Not easy, but it can be managed.

We've done Disney at Easter four times and found that while it is busy - with plenty of planning and optimum use of Fast Pass a good time can still be had (otherwise we wouldn't keep going back)

It will be busy but if you get to the parks early and just enjoy then you will be fine. You might not get as much done as in previous trips but you will still have a good time!

We have gone during Easter several times. It will be very, very, very busy (and we had to suffer through the pre-FastPass years!) However, as many here have said you can make it work, you just have to make sure to have a good plan in place. :)
