We just had an AWESOME lunch there today. Took over half an hour to get the food because they had to prepare something from scratch due to a food allergy concern in my party, but it was beyond delicious, and the staff was excellent.
Mmmm, I can still feel that lamb literally melting in my mouth... Perfect!

I find that service is often quite slow at Marrakesh. But I agree the food is exotic and interesting. Some people do think that makes for a so-so meal, and that's happened to me at least once. But the vast majority of dishes are good, and usually well-prepared. Just know that it won't be a quick visit. And the belly dancing doesn't last very long.

Yes, the shows are approximately every hour during lunch and dinner times, and last about 20-25 minutes. The belly dancer will be out for about 10 minutes per show, give or take a few.
