Some people do, and the princess didn't talk with one, just the crazy lightning bug, and I can assure you there are some people who talk like him.

I thought the preview was cute and encouraging. I especially loved the New Orleans flavored "When You Wish Upon a Star".

Major props to Disney on their return to traditional animation. It looks like a hit.

I like how it looks so far too.

But gosh is it a breath of fresh air to see traditional animations for once. Man oh man, I really didn't realize I missed it so much after seeing the trailer.

Yes, I was refering to the bug, and I have never encountered anyone in "New Orleans" that speaks like that. Yes, in the Thibobaux, bayou area yes. My Grandpa being one of them. New Orleans proper, never.

From what I understand, this is supposed to take place in the 1920's. I'm sure that people spoke differently back then.
