I really really like that image. I really think that we should shoot for something like this. More naturalistic than rustic. I still think that rustic is obvious and overdone both in the parks and in similar projects I've seen.

Well, we've certainly got a treasure trove of naturalistic Disney environments: Bambi, The Fox and the Hound, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, all of which take full advantage of the forests and jungles their stories take place in.

If it's alright with you guys, I think the pool should be themed after mermaid lagoon. That sequence in the film with the mermaids swinging is just begging to be turned into a real pool. Perhaps we could connect the pool area to the lake, which will be themed to Skull Rock. This would bring some cohesion to the area. If not, we can go another direction, but I'd definitely like to get started on artwork for the pool by today.

Sorry I've been off the past few days guys. As far as lodging goes, are we doing a full lift from Fort Wilderness (including built-in cabins, camping areas, RV lots) or just certain accommodation areas?

I'm thinking Princesses for my trail. The forests from Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Brave, and the Bayou from Princess and the Frog are begging to be recreated in reality.

If I were you, I might avoid the bayou for the slight aesthetic clash, but it is up to you, that was just my 2¢
I guess I could take it if no one else wants it.
Go for it!

Yes
So, I vote 5 loops. Each loop has its own theme that fits into the larger theme. Each loop has one special thing (walking trail, pool, etc.). And each loop, of course, has tents and/or cabins.

1. Original Story with check in and stuff
2. Neverland Jungle
3. Enchanted Forest (princesses)
4. Paradise Falls/Wilderness Explorers?
5. Other thing

That works for me. So are we going to all work on the loops in our themes or is that someone else?

We could have everything centered around a man made mountain that is Neverland Mountain on one side and Paradise Falls on the other.

And I won't have a ton of time this week. So,@kmbmw777 do you want to tag team a loop? Since you said you wanted to help someone.

Here is a quickee layout of though. Light green is surrounding roads, while dark is "on property" the main road loops around the center lake, with the lodge on it. Light blue is the lake and dark blue is the pool. Each color is a different section, and the green striped is the animal sanctuary.
