When does HM close to get its Nightmare Before Christmas makeover? I see it'll be closed for the first 3 months of 2018 to take down the decorations and refurbish the ride, but when does it generally close in the summer/fall?

Last week of Aug/First week of Sept. I think this year it opened Sept 8, last year Sept 2.

The 35th Anniversary press release says that Halloween will start September 11, so last week of August sounds about right.

since TDL got HMH courtesy of TDO, TDL should dig up their IASWH décor they aren't using anymore & ship it to Florida as a thank you.

Why do you think TDO would be interested in doing a small world holiday overlay? They can't even be bothered to put Santa hats on the Country Bears and flip the switch to their Christmas show.
