TAXI!!! Taxi!

All you have to do is walk out the entrance of the resort and tell one of the bell services or valet people that you need a cab. They have them there waiting at almost all times and will just call one over for you. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to travel.

First, there will be busses even that early in the morning, so you can take the bus for you ADR as well if you want to.

Second, if you want to take a cab to the MK, ask to go to the Contemporary and then walk from there. Otherwise the taxi drop off is at the TTC and you would have to take the monorail or ferry from there to the MK.

And finally, Disney Insider is absolutely right about on how to get one. I did that many times, never had a problem. You could also call bell services ahead of time and ask them to arrange a taxi for you.

As was previously stated, just go to bell services. They will have one there within 5 minutes. Yes, go to Contemporary and walk or maybe they will drop you off on the side of the road or something. I would not bet on a bus, they are too unreliable. A taxi would probably run you less than $20 or so depending on how many in your party.

I think it's earlier than that b/c Chef Mickey's offers adrs starting at 7am and Cape May at 7:30. I could have sworn I'd heard 6:30a as when the buses start. I know we've gotten buses around 7:05a and 7:10a.

I thought they had really early busses. We always rent a car because we extremely dislike Disney Transportation.

Last time I was there the earliest bus was not early enough to catch rope drop at MK. (But this may be because we stayed at Shades of Green, so the bus dropped us off at the TTC and then we had to get a monorail). We were going through bag check right as the opening show finished.

How's the rebuilding down there after the tornadoes? Did you get hit?

No. I didn't get hit. I live in Sellersburg and it hit 3 miles up from me in Henryville. Took the school completely out. I am friends with the principal there, Glenn Riggs, (he sold us our house) and he said that he got all but one bus load out of the school before it hit and safely home then he took the one bus load, about 30 kids, into his office and got on the floor by the walls. His office and maybe two other rooms were all that was left standing. It was horrible. The town is rebuilding but it is slow going. One moron came in with a semi truck to one of the relief drop off stations in Clarksville to help take supplies to the area in Henryville but he stole the load that he picked up and was trying to sell it all. :brick: He got arrested. Then there are idiots taking the copper wiring and copper from the air conditioning units and trying to sell it. Power was out for a while and a lot of houses that were still standing had windows busted out. I went up there for a few days and camped out at a friends house with my side arm on me and my cruiser in the lawn in case someone came to break in.
